I came to the Potterverse late, devouring all 7 books over the summer when DH came out. I came to fanfic even later, and have been gluttonously consuming HG/SS love stories since December. I really enjoy the slow-building, tension-ridden love stories that the pairing seems to inspire. The quality of writing I come across in the fanfic world never ceases to astound me, and I am well and truly addicted!

It's refreshing to see a post-DH story where Snape doesn't miraculously recover in a matter of days - even magical healing obviously has its limits.

I enjoyed the first two chapters a lot and am looking forward to more!

Glad to know you find it refreshing! After all the difficulties St. Mungo's had with treating Arthur Weasley, I felt that they'd have more difficulty with a more serious bite.
