Hello, dear readers and fellow writers!
I read and write in the Inuyasha and Harry Potter fandoms, preferring non-canon pairing that involve bad boys of the fandoms: Sesshomaru, Snape, Draco, Lucius (mmm, Slytherins), and Hermione is the Potterverse bicycle.
Completed fics in the Potterverse:
* The Devil is in the Details (HG/SS - M for language and violence - and I'm happy to mention that it was a Featured Story at TPP for 2/08 and nominated for the SS/HG awards Round Two)
* For All Intents and Purposes (HG/SS - M for language and violence)
Completed fics for Inuyasha:
* Darkness (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut - won multiple awards at IY groups)
* To Shed a Little Light (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut- won multiple awards at IY groups)
* Quadrangle (Kag/Sessh - NC17 for smut)
* Moving Pictures (Sessh/OC - NC17 for smut)
* Don't Know What You've Got 'til it's Gone (Kag/IY - NC17 for smut - and this was my first fic ever, so be warned)
WIP:
* Cereal Box Romance (Kag/Sessh - Inuyasha - updated irregularly- won multiple awards at IY groups)
* Primal (Kag/Sessh - Inuyasha - pretty much abandoned)
Upcoming projects? Yes. I've got a one-shot HG/SS cooking that I may never finish or post, and I've started a multi-chapter HG/SS as well. I will probably write a number of the chapters before I start posting, so you probably won't see anything new for a while.
Reviews for For All Intents and Purposes
AMAZING update yet again! :DI'm really loving this storyprobem with chapter tho that I'm not sure if it's just my computer, but the chapter has repeated itself twice in this update.
I love this story. I think your characterizations are quite good, and I'm dying for Heidi and Severus to "get it on". Wheeeeeeee!
Poor girl - she is about to be caught in her own lies and Severus already is suspecting something is up - tsk tsk - how will she get out of this one.
Point well made. It would seem that lying does havethat nasty habit of coming back to bite you at a later time. Looks like Heidi'sin a bit of a fix, no? I do love the fact that despite the fact that Severus is-- well, quite aware of the fact thatHermione isn't really who she claims to be, he's still attracted to her! I lookforward to the next installment.
This is a great story! I love how you have characterized Lupin - he's down and out on his luck (poor man) but he is no fool. And Severus is just perfect. What also stems from that is Hermione's interaction with Severus. I love how she handles him and considers his reactions before speaking. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've another chap to read!
You know, the story is duplicated this chapter. I like the chapter, but reading it twice in a row was a bit disconcerting.
I enjoyed this chapter, as always, but I noticed that the whole thing repeats twice. It confused the hell out of me.
Dum de dum dum. "Heidi" is in a bit of a fix, isn't she?
This is a problem - Severus is feeling very strong feelings for Heidi (Hermione) and she is starting to think of things that she should not like Severus smells good. She knows she is in the past and that in the present Severus is dead. In HP, it was warned that a wizard messing with the past can cause a lot of trouble. Simce she has been living in the past, I feel that all this is going to change the course of history. I also never liked her with Ron - Severus is more her style and I cannot wait to see with all that has happened in this story - what will happen to the future.....

Yes, Hermione is digging herself in deep. I think Ron would bore the socks off her - that couple is doomed to dinners where they stare at each other with nothing to say.
have i mentioned that i'm loving this story? i'm loving it. Thanks for writing.

Thanks! I had a lot of fun writing it.
I'm concerned about Lupin's apparent attachment or attraction to Hermione. This can only get bad. XD

I think Lupin would be as susceptible to kindness as Severus. But yeah, Severus won't appreciate it.
awww sweet. I loved the way Lupin threw Severus for a loop.

Severus would have much preferred Lupin to be the thief. And now he has to travel with him. Ugh.
"He wanted to punch that trite expression right through the other man’s face and watch it burst out the back of his head."
Now there's a brilliant line if I ever saw one! Talk about perfectly summing up incoherently jealous rage!

I do enjoy having my stuff quoted back to me! Thanks!

this is such a great story. it was interesting to see your version of interactions between young severus and young remus. seemed very plausible. i'm glad hermione was able to prevent any major mayhem between the two of them. interesting to see them both kind of getting territorial over her. can't wait for the next chapter!

Poor Hermione - it's like babysitting two quarelling children, except that these kids outweigh her and have weapons in their hands. Enough to drive a woman to ice cream.

okay, now your response to my review is making me giggle. it's like a bonus laugh!

What a great storyteller you are rhiannonofthemoon! This is so well written. I enjoyed "meeting" younger Lupin and your portrayal of younger Snape continues to be dead on.I also love your sense of humour!(Who is Koga? :) )
Response from rhiannonofthemoon (Author of For All Intents and Purposes)
Thanks!
Koga is a character in Inuyasha - he is a wolf demon (that's how it translates to English, but he's more of a corporeal animal spirit), the leader of his pack, and is the main rival for the heroine's affection. He insists that he will marry her, but she's not interested. He is constantly referring to her as "my woman," which drives the hero, Inuyasha (who is half dog demon), nuts. Koga is much more forward than Lupin. ;)

That was interesting. And I like that Lupin was able to see the difference between it being Hermione's item and Severus's.

Thanks! I think you are the only one to mention that. I think he is smart and observant enough to be able to tell.

I am glad that Severus did not treat Remus too poorly. Hopefully Heidi doesn't break Remus's heart, since I am sure she doesn't think of him as anything more than a friend. It would be nice if by the end of things, Severus doesn't dislike werewolfs as he does now. I like how Heidi shows her trust for Severus. Perhaps he will now have a better outlook on humankind. I look forward to more interactions between Hermione and Severus.
Response from rhiannonofthemoon (Author of For All Intents and Purposes)
I suppose he could have treated him worse, but he was still very far from nice to him. I'm sure Lupin will survive any attatchment he might have made to Hermione - he doesn't really know her. If anything, it is - and pardon the pun - puppy love. ;)

So then, is it safe to think of Lupin as a more civilized
version of Koga? Yes, I can see now that having him adopt too many of Koga’s
qualities (calling Hermione “my woman” for example) although fun, no doubt,
would either make him terribly out of character or result in a very, very early
death at the hands of Severus. I mean, really! Lupin can’t look at Hermione
without Severus’ blood boiling!
The chapter was fun to read and I’m looking
forward to the next.

Lupin is a kinder, gentler man than Koga ever could be. I think the few things they have in common are that they are wolfy, they are fond of our heroine (Lupin couldn't help liking someone who is nice to him any more than Severus could), and that they incite jealousy. ;)
Yes, I think that if Lupin would have found himself missing his entrails if he tried any of the stunts that Koga did. Oh, but the fun... well, you are more than welcome to crackfic it! That would be a hoot!

Severus is so cute when he's jealous! It's a good thing he learned to control his emotions when he got older because he packs a full load of rude!
Keep up the good work!

I do like a jealous Severus. :) He did improve his control where the Maurauders were concerned as he got older, but I thought that only a fews years after the incidents, Severus would still be very angry and not inclined to be civil.

Sorta wonder if there'll be an opportunity for Remus to refer to Hermione as "My Woman" coming up soon...
I liked the comment: If anyone had “Handle Carefully” stamped across his forehead, it was Severus Snape. And the bit about him carrying 'potions for all occasions' with him at all times.
Response from rhiannonofthemoon (Author of For All Intents and Purposes)
As fun as it would be, I just can't see Lupin calling Hermione "my woman." He's got a bit more class than Koga, I think. ;)
However, you can expect a significant amount of bickering. >.<

oooh, nice, very nice. I love that you've added a young Remus into the mix. I always wondered what his life was like without the other marauders. Can't wait for more

I think Lupin's life would have pretty much sucked. Poor guy. No job, no friends, and his kind hated and feared by most people.

Severus is every bit the nasty man we know. It reminds me strongly of the Severus in PoA.
Response from rhiannonofthemoon (Author of For All Intents and Purposes)
Yes, he is. :) You were meant to be reminded of PoA - that book largely inspired his behavior when dealing with Lupin. I figured he would be even more rude and out of control as a hormonal twenty-something with only a few years between him and their school rivalries.

Of course Lupin didn't do it! I find Severus getting jealous highly amusing, though. :D

From the little interaction we see between Severus and Lily in DH, he seems to be the type to be both jealous and possessive. It amuses me, too, of course. :)
