Draco was made for this part.  It fits him great.   And Severus only wanting Hermione for the job,  makes me wonder if there is something more besides what is told in this chapter.

I'm glad Albus was there when she pasted.  I think its wonderful how even that Ron isn't there he still trys to comfort her.  And Harry always a great friends.

Interesting beginning. I particularly liked Kreacher's involvement and the name he called McGonagall. I'm getting a good sense of tired sorrow from this, like 'we're all very sad, but we push through because we have to so we can mourn properly after'.
