Reviews for The Love You Take
I love you!
That was one grand read, brilliant. I wasn't quite sold yet after the first few chapters (I love PwP, but it *was* getting a bit much), but once there was actually a story developing behind it... wow.
Thank you for the countless hours I spent glued to the screen of my pc :)
I have to say that I have read this fic three or four times since January...which says as much about me as it does about how I feel about your writing!!
There are many memorable lines here, but my favorite by far is the simple ‘Put my hands where you want them.’ Everytime I even I read or remember the line I get a little weak in the knees.
Thanks for this.
Also, I am a huge fan of Georgette Heyer and The Grand Sophy is one of my favorites. I'm sure you could do great work with The Quiet Gentleman or The Convenient Marriage...even These Old Shades or The Devil's Cub (HG/DM vehicle?)...
C
thank you for the ride
that was FUN!
This was quite as wonderful the third time through! Romantic, exciting, moving, touching, funny, hawt, and amazing. See everything I've said before, and multiply it by three! Bravo!!
I am back again--this is at least my THIRD time through this amazing tale, and it is even more compelling this time around. You are an incredible storyteller--you portray the ebb and flow of human emotions caught in an impossible situation so brilliantly. I really feel for both of them; you make the explicit scenes between them so deeply integral to the psychological story you are telling that everything has power and feeling. That's true writing skill! I'm very glad this blossomed into an epic, and that it bears rereading so magnificently.
Great story. I loved it. It has all the ingredients needed to capture the audience and keep them to the very end.
excellent.thanks
I found this chapter to be very romantic towards the end. I also liked the nod given by the elderly couple at the end.
WOW, you've wrought a truly wonderful story around that horrible curse. I've been enjoying it several chapters in a row, reading until my eyes fell closed in the middle of the night. A fascinating style and a nice setting with the Prince family. You came up with a very good plot to accompany the juicy parts :-)
Oh, Lordy. I shouldn't have read that today. I've been recoverng from 6 broken ribs, and wthdrawing from all the percoset I needed to take just to breathe, and I'm being an utter setimental crybaby today. Really, far more than I should. But the idea of the old lady feeliing the change in the Vinculum, which must have been both a joy and a great sorrow, has me sobbing at my keyboard and ignoring the cottage cheese that I'm supposed to be feeding my osteoblasts. I probably wouldn't be this sappy if not for the drugs, but... thank you for this lovely little story. *not making much sense, but at least I have an excuse*
The evil cliffie would kill me - but I don't think Severus can escape. At least if the Merlin- Nimüe theme holds! And certainly his grandmother, and the Nexus, and Hermione's determination will work their magic. But still... silly, silly man, trying to run away. Doesn't he know if Dumbledore recommends a course of action, he should do the opposite? And, of course, wonderful and moving chapter as ever.
of course he's going to seek counsel from his grandmother. he wouldn't be so stupid as to reject Hermione.at least, he better not.
Okay, after I slept on it, I'm thinking that Severus *actually* packed up all his stuff because he couldn't live at the school and be involved with her, and he's resigned his position.Er, maybe. That prat.
if there isn't a happy ending I'm going to cry like a baby. :(
I hope you enjoy writing this as much as I do reading it! :)
So many so called mature adults expect young people to make all kinds of important decisions for their lives at a spectacularily young age. We expect them to choose possibly a lifelong profession and lifemate. In this instance your Hermione has made a decision of who to love, regardless of the conditions leading upt to it. She is repeatedly being told by both Severus and Albus, in their own way, that she is too young to really know what she wants. No wonder she is angry and frustrated. Perhaps soon Severus will recognize her love for what it is and not what he thinks it is. No matter what age we are we often forget and doubt our own worthiness to be loved, which of course is Severus Snape's greatest failing in this story and in canon. I speak of this as one of the so called mature adults. Anyway I love your story and look forward to the finishing chapter/s?
Oh My. I'm so scared! This chapter was amazing! I love how no-nonsense Hermione is when dealing with Albus and Severus. I'm really sad that this journey is coming to a close but I'm thrilled that I've been here for the whole ride. I can't wait to see what happens and I hope he didn't leave her again! Much Love! ~Karen
Love it! But the anticipation will kill me for sure! Can't wait until the end of the week!xo.
Maybe he has gone to book a church? lol !x.x
ARGH! First I wanted to strangle Albus, now I want to kick Severus and then strangle Albus again for good measure. He's only gone for a bit to make his decision without her presence, yes? *clings to the hope of a happy ending*
Damn Albus! I totally want to scream at him! How Dare he play with Severus' emotions like that! What an ass. Anyways. This chapter was amazing as usual! And I totally can't wait to see what happens with our couple!!! ~Brena
What!!!! Noooo....... He has to stay with her! *snifles*
Please write more please!
GAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!*is dead*You have killed me.
I love this story and I am sorry I have not reviewed before to say so! I wanted to strangle Albus. I'm sure he was doing what he thought best, as in the books, but really I could hit him. Well done with that. I loved the nexus. Everything around it was great. I'm so glad that it was Bella that cursed her and that Hermione was able to give him that proof. I am hoping the note says something along the lines of, "Off to see the Aurors. Will be home for supper. Love, S." I have a feeling that you aren't quite done with the story though. I am taking that as a good thing. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!Happy writing, Sprinks
that says what??? Gah! the anticipation!
