I adore the world of HP.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to stir my cauldron.
Reviews for Becoming Whole
Still uneasy with DH's seeming elevation of Lily (Evans) Potter to near-sainthood, her being the la belle dame sans merci/morgan le fay/virgin mary in Snape's personal pantheon. Guess I'll nevery buy the Gryffindor automatically = good in my book.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Yeah, not with Wormtail as proof. Yuck. I do love Snape/Lily pairings though. Always have. So I enjoyed that part of the book. :)
Methinks Snapey needs some humbling via kitty. Some cat/kneazle hairs on his robes and maybe some shredding oughta improve his manners slightly. (speaking as a cat owner)
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Poor Crooks. Good idea. My family has a cat who is 20 years old, and she's always been an inside cat (though we do let her out in a big kennel sometimes to enjoy the sun, etc.). Anyway, back in the day, she used to be totally fiesty and would go pee somewhere if she was angry or jealous. This is horrible, but I can't help but to say it. A lady came over, and she brought her young child, who still had a car seat. Well, she shooed my cat off when she came over and curiously looked at the baby. I saw my cat's tail twitch and thought, "Shit." B/c if she sat on you, she didn't let you get up if she was comfortable, was tempermental, and so on. My mom said, "Go on, Manny."Time passed. The woman was holding her little one, and out of nowhere, my cat jumped in the car seat and started peeing. Oh, man. It was a nightmare. LOL Talk about revenge!
Yay. I knew you'd be able to set things right and have the Gryffs do the Slytherins fair. (sorry, DH & JKR's prejudice against Slytherins still leaves a bad taste in my mouth).
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Yeah, I didn't like that either. I wished at least one Slytherin would have been a "good" guy. I mean, I guess it can be argued that Slytherin played its part as Phineus said (him, Snape, even Slughorn), but studentwise.... :( Well, Narcissa was quite Slytherin. LOL ~grin~
I'd hate to think that Harry would rather let his blind hatred of and prejudice against Snape to get in the way of saving Ginny. But I don't have much faith in the boy-who-lived, frankly.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
It's so hard for him to let go of his loathing sometimes it seems. :)
Wonderful story, cannot wait until the next installment!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thank you very much.
For someone who is not interested, Snape was able to describe Hermione's position in bed as if he had a photographic memory. Hermione's payback of shucking off her clothes in front of him and taking a shower was great for shock value. I'm glad they made up. As for Harry, it looks like he did go to the Minister after all and I misjudged him in the last chapter.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Uh-huh. I'm thinking he replayed what he saw in his mind a great deal, even taking extra care to magic her bag back in front the door so she wouldn't know he was there. LOL Harry's trying to do what's right, but you know how that normally goes for him. Hehe.
I'm not sure what she was thinking, but I enjoyed the chapter.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Cool! Thank you. I worried a bout it after I wrote it, but then said, "Ah, sod it," and left it in. LOL
AHHHHHHHHH!!! omg i think i died!!! i absoloutly love this *screaming* you have to keep writing!!!! omg i dont even know what else to say this is brilliant!!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
LOL More up soon. Glad you like it.
Ooo I can't wait for the next chapter!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks! :) More up soon
Aww, I love his peace offering. It's beautiful that Hermione figured out the truth about Severus' intentions. It's rare that Hermione is the one who learns a lesson in these stories, and I'm fascinated by the process.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks for reading! I'm so glad you like it and the fact that Hermione's the one learning a lesson. Now let's see what she does with it. :)
So okay, Hermione has convinced the guys that Snape deserves consideration at least, if not downright gratitude for all he's done. But someone needs to convince them that turning those two Slytherin bimbos loose because they're a pain in the arse is just rewarding bad behavior!
Anyone who's ever raised teenagers knows you don't let them get the upper hand, otherwise you'll be pulling the load and they'll be driving!
Good chapter, but way too short!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Uh-huh. I'm thinking Kingsley or someone will shut down the idea to be rid of the girls. LOL Thanks for reading! :)
Love it!! Haha, poor Ron and Harry. I think those two girls would be strangled before long! Can't wait to read the next chapter!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Nod. A couple of pests, those girls. :)
Good chapter. I can't wait for more!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thank you. More up soon.
Thank you so much for the update. I am happy Severus offered a tiny bit of peace towards Hermione, but this chapter also showed me even more how unfair it must be to him to yet again be a prisioner of someone else when he is doing the rigth thing all the time. I hope you will have Harry freeing Severus from the agreement soon, preferably before the antidote is given to Ginny, that would show that they will trust him, if they wait, it will only seems like they waited until they got what they wanted, and then didn't care anymore. Looks likek the boys have their work cut out for them with Daphnee and Pancy, serves them rigth:-)Update again soon, this really is a brilliant story!!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
It's definitely a sad, tough situation for Snape. Hermione will continue to learn and understand all that the man has done. It's humbling. :) Harry's actions are in the next chapter. Thanks for reading. I appreciate it.
I love this chapter. It shows why he feels put upon so eloquently. No more a prat, simply a man driven too far for too long...
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks, dear. More soon. :)
Too many have misjudged his true character. It is no wonder he is bitter and feels used. I hope Harry can set the record straight and Snape can be allowed his freedom with his power, as he deserves. As for the guys, oh my have they got their hands full with Daphne and Pansy. What a riot! Those young women will have Ron and Harry completely stressed out in a relatively short period of time.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Yep, I don't blame him in the least. He was a bit rough, but it kind of was warranted. I'll have more up soon! Bwahahaha
Exciting....I can't wait to read more!!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks! More up soon.
I had a feeling it would turn out that he was trying to find a cure anyway! I wonder how things will go when Harry does ... whatever it is he's going to do. I like this take on the prompt!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Poor misunderstood Snape. Snerk. :) Thank you. I'll have more up soon! ~grin~
I like that, it is good to see Harry thinking.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks! We'll see more of what he does in the next chapter. Teehee.
This is getting more and more interesting. I like the way you are incorporating bits and pieces from DH and I love your Snape.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks. :) I am happy you are liking it. ~grin~
I'm enjoying this one. I till can't believe that the Ministry would put two girls in with Harry and Ron! *laughs* even those two.I'm glad Harry finally realizes how much Snape does for everyone. About time!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Yeah, it's about time he opens his eyes. I'm afraid he does the wrong thing at first in r egards to giving Snape what he wants. Bwahahaha.
Just caught up with this story, and I'm really hooked, especially after this eventful chapter. What a kicker when Hermione reads the dates on Snape's notes, and he certainly doesn't seem the type to accept amends easily! Pansy and Daphne are pretty funny as the roommates from hell (as long as you don't have to room with them, that is...)
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks so much! Things will come around one of these days. LOL Glad you are enjoying this. I'll have more up soon.
I feel sorry for Severus, but at least you didn't kill him off.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Too right!
Well, he's decided to be cooperative but didn't exactly apologise - I wonder if he's deliberately manipulating Hermione's feelings or if she's truly seen him in an unguarded moment?
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
It was a truly unguarded moment, poor bloke. :) In my mind, he's feeling justified about not apologizing. Things will get better. Thank you for reading! I appreciate it.
Great story so far; everyone in character and an intriguing plot. I feel sorrier for Harry and Ron than Hermione at the moment.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Becoming Whole)
Thanks! Hehehe. INdeed. Women can be the handful! SNerk
