Well, it is a snowy, blustery day and the arctic blast is coming upon us. So, I have a major case of the "f-its" and decided to take the day off and check out this story. I'm liking it! I love the arse-hole comments from Snape and the fact that Hermione is giving it back. The tension (emotional and sexual) has been wonderful so far. I look forward to your updates.

I'm loving it, Southern.  You do write romance so well.  I like to see Severus a bit relaxed and pleasant (although the letter from the Ministry bodes no good, there's still time for a lovely evening between the two of them).

Didnt the trio agree in chapter 2 to be more forth coming with eachother? Hermione and Harry have no one to blame but eachother for this Rita debacle. Crooks is a naughty cat. I like that Hermione swears. I swear too. Cursing is a good thing.

I tell you my heart just broke when Severus was ranting at Hermione, that he had done everything asked of him and still it wasnt enough to gain his freedom. ((sniffle)) I am glad the trio plans to set it to rights.

i was in the midst of reviewing this chapter last night when the electricity went out in my apartment building, and all was lost.  : (   so here's the short version:  i thought this chapter was perfection.  i loved your morning after, and the scene at the weasleys, and your night after, too.  and everything in between.

It was a very nice 'morning after'.  Just because they are both intellectually gifted does not mean they know how to talk to each other after the fact.  It felt very natural.  Good show.Happy Holidays.

Since you mentioned it in your AN's... I really like the way you portrayed the 'morning after'. There is still the questions and suspense of 'will they get together or won't they' without having some kind of fight, or crying fit from Hermione (I know... sometimes she just cries, and we (the wriiter) have to just go with it) :) And Sev's seeming comfort with it all - but still not knowing what he thinks about it as far as after his imprisonment is over just adds to that suspense/drama of the story.Really enjoyed it!!Merry Christmas & Happy Yule!!

I found it a very charming morning after.  Severus certainly isn't a git when he opens up to someone.  As always I'm looking forward to reading more! I am a tad worried about the trial to come.  Hope Severus doesn't end up back in the slammer!
