I am so happy for you haveing Severus returning to Hermione, I was expecting the more usual him hiding away while they both feel sorry for them selves and longing for the other. For you making Severus making a claim to the woman he wants (only when said woman is Hermione of course) and to want to face the world together with her, you have my eternal gratitude!!! Yay new chapter!

Took me a second to follow the different way of story-telling, but I liked it much more than another Ministry scene. >_<

Loved the flashback scene, very well placed. 

Arg!  Scrimgeour is nothing but bat scat!  I sure didn't see that courtroom humiliation coming.  Thankyou for bringing "the man" back home to loving arms.  You had me in a bit of a panic for a moment.  However, I knew you would only want the best for our snarky guy.

Yeah!  An update!  And a worthwhile wait at that!  I knew Severus had come back with the second dream.  Nicely written!

I am glad that Severus was released from probation. I was just as worried as Hermione that he would be too upset with her to talk about their relationship once he was released. At least she won't be alone when facing everybody. Hopefully the press doesn't bother her too much.It would be quite disappointing if Hermione lost her job. However, I am sure that she could find another way to employ herself; she is very intelligent and resourceful.I am so glad you updated again! I cannot wait until the next installment. You did a great job with the flashbacks.

Oh, blasting the door off Severus's "friend's" place just had to come back to haunt Hermione--but in Court, Oi. [I really, really loved that particular scene--blasting the door, I mean.] Then every little thing is blown up to sound so sordid. I was so sad when I thought Severus walked away from any relationship they might have had. However, he came back and is frisky to boot.

Nice way to scare your audience!  You have her showering and thinking what a mess it all is and how she'll never see him in her place again, and I figured Scrimgeour had slapped him back into Azkaban.  Nicely written.

I'm glad Hermione realized that she was wrong and had treated Severus badly.  Really, I dislike jealousy, it never helps anything.  (even if, as this story goes, it ends well,  jealousy is still bad.)

Severus found out that with Hermione, honesty is the best policy. 

Good job. The flash backs gave us enough of the trial to know what happened with our having to read it all.  I still would have loved for Scrimgeour to have gotten egg in his face – but can’t have everything can we.  I love the fact that Severus came back to the flat and climbed into bed with her. Ah, if only dreams did come true like that…

Ha ha! I love that the Minister tried to discredit them and he was the one who had to step down! Hermione and Severus may have been embarrassed, but in the end, they got what they wanted. Now, what is Minerva up to?

I put this story in my favourites some time ago, but I kept waiting for it to be finished.  However tonight I thought I'd catch up on this wonderful tale.  I hope Severus doesn't get in trouble for being in Knockturn Alley.  I wonder if he'll get in trouble with Hermione for visiting a sporting lady.I guess I'll find out soon, after I type, "thank you for this delightful story."

Scrimgeour's plot unravels! I am glad that the SOB had to resign. However can Hermione be blamed if it was Scrimgeour who insisted on male "prisoners" staying with female sponsors and female prisoners with male sponsors? After all, when people are stuck together like that they have to find some way to release energy. Just look at all those "blizzard babies" that are born every September and October!

Poor Hermione.  But I'm so glad that he came back to her. 

I like the way you interspersed the flashbacks and reflections.  I am also very glad that it ended on such a positive note!
