My response to the Potter Place's Winter Prompt Challenge, Prompt #22. What happens when Snape is inadvertently hit with an obscure curse that forces its victim to declare his secret love? He doesn't even release he has a secret heart's desire until the spell forces him to declare it, publicly, in Shakespearean prose no less!

Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thanks. I'm hoping to have the next chapter up soon.
Great start. I hope she isn't to shocked at Snape being all mushy toward her. If it was me I might think hell had froze over! Looking forward to the next chapter.

Thanks! Hermione's reaction will be in the next chapter so "stay tuned"!
Very promising start. Can't wait to hear Severus gush some more. More soon, please!

Thanks. Chapter 2 will be posted as soon as I get it back from my beta. It shouldn't be much of a wait.
Oh, my LOL! Severus is in for it now! I look forward to reading more.

Thank you so much. I really appreciate the encouragement.
It was mean to stop just here.
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
LOL. Sorry. I didn't intend to be mean. More Shakespeare and Hermione's reaction to come soon. Thanks for reviewing.
*clapping my hands over my eyes* Oh, how embarrassing! Poor Severus! I can hardly wait to read Hermione's reaction.
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
I'm so glad to hear that you are getting into the story. Unfortunately for poor Severus, there's a bit more embarassment to come before we get to see Hermione's reaction. Should be up soon. Thank you for reviewing!
It's fun! Keep it coming. I like your Snape. He seems real.
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thank you! My characterizations are very important to me. It means a lot to me to hear that they are appreciated. Thanks again.
Hehehe! Great start!

Thanks for the review. I'm so glad you are enjoying it. The story is complete so the chapters will be posted as soon as I get them back from my beta.
I loved this story! The last bit was hilarious. Good work on getting the Shakespeare quotes.Any chance you'll continue on with the story??? :-)
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thank you so much for the review. I hadn't read that much Shakespeare since high school (which was many years ago)! It was fun though. I'm so glad you enjoyed it! Unfortunately, there will not be a sequel to this one though :(
I love Shakespeare, and I love the thought of Severus speaking those lines.
Run Creevey, run fast, run far.
This is beautiful! I adore the Shakespearean plays - you integrated them perfectly into each appropriate scene. Hats off, also, to your excellent editing skills (or beta, I didn't read those notes).
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thanks! I really don't think I'd ever read that much Shakespeare before as I did researching this and never in one sitting! LOL. And I've got one of the greatest betas (and friends) in the world.
I was audibly laughing at your conclusion. All your research paid off, in the form of a very entertaining and well-written story!
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thank you so much. I'm say glad to hear you like it and that all the research was worth it.
Sweet and funny story.
Creevey will look very paranoid waiting for Severus revenge. *LOL*
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thank you! Yeah, I would hate to be Dennis Creevey right now! LOL.
Oh, he's figureing it out. I like this! Now I'm really curious whether he's going to be able to avoid Hermione or if there will be more Shakespeare.

Chapter 4 is currently with my beta. It should answer your question. *hee hee* I'm so glad you are enjoying the story. Thanks so much for the review.
But...what if Severus wrote the letter for the main apothecarist, NOT for Hermione...and took it to give to the apothecarist, NOT Hermione? If Hermione were then to read the letter (which could contain an explanation that he's cursed to speak in Shakespear around the apothecarist's apprentice), it would circumvent the problem of flowery prose, since Snape wouldn't have intended for Hermione to read it...(and would probably have done whatever he could to keep said note out of her hands, though she would've snatched it from him whilst he was spouting yet more iambic pentameterisms...)~LotmP.S. Purrrrpurrrrpurrrrrrr! *twines around your ankles, tripping you into your keyboard determinedly*
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
LOL. Lupinschewtoy asked a very similar question. To be completely honest, I never really gave any thought to Snape writing rather than speaking. The idea just never popped into my head. But then again, I get a rather fiendish delight out of forcing Snape to confront Hermione under the spell's effects and since writing a letter not destined for Hermione would probably negate the spell's effect, where's the fun in that? I know that Snape will absolutely hate me for it (although I hope he will forgive me in the end because I really do love him), neither he nor the readers have seen the last of Snape on Shakespeare quite yet. The next chapter has been altered slightly and e-mailed to Ravine (my beta) so hopefully it'll be ready to post soon. So, please, I'm begging you, no more nuzzles. The purring I rather enjoy, but the nuzzling tickles tremendously! :) *giggling way too much for my age thanks to my overly ticklish ankles*

wah.... this chapter wasn't long enough! I want more interraction! hehe.. Please write more soon :) BTW I am pretty positive your latin is way off.
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
The latin was chosen word by word through an English-Latin online translator so I have no doubt that it is way off, but it was the best I could do at the time. I promise more interaction in the next chapter though.
I'd like to tell you that as tired as I am after a singularly horrible day of exams - the Shakespeare Severus uttered to Hermione actually had me laughing so hard I almost fell out of my chair. :)
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
I'm so glad I could help! Your review has made my day!
I like it! :) I really look forward to read more!
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thanks! I'm reworking part of the next chapter, but I will try to get it to the beta in the next day or two. Promise!
Enjoying it a lot so far. Especially Sev spewing Shakespeare in chapter 2. :D Minervas reaction is priceless. <3
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Thanks! I'm so glad to hear you are enjoying it!
Of course the voice of Snape's conscience would sound just like Dumbledore. I bet he'd be highly amused by this turn of events.
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
I can just imagine all the twinkling this situation would have caused! Especially if Minerva is an indication!
Maow! *pounces on yer fic, face-first into devouring it...eventually emerges from a totally cleaned bowl, licking her whiskers for every last scrap*Mmmmmm... *purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr**gives you a look that says she's staaaaarving again, and would you pleeeeeese pretty please feed the cute lil' kitty?*...Miu?~Lotm
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
I'm currently reworking part of the next chapter, but I will try to get it out to the beta in the next day or two. But if it's any consolation, there will be plenty of sappy, syrupy desserts as a reward for the wait.
