My response to the Potter Place's Winter Prompt Challenge, Prompt #22. What happens when Snape is inadvertently hit with an obscure curse that forces its victim to declare his secret love? He doesn't even release he has a secret heart's desire until the spell forces him to declare it, publicly, in Shakespearean prose no less!

I'm currently reworking part of the next chapter, but I will try to get it out to the beta in the next day or two. But if it's any consolation, there will be plenty of sappy, syrupy desserts as a reward for the wait.

*hearing Rickman's voice doing Snape's lines* -- . Looks like the start of an interesting situation and story!

Hmm... that voice is enough to turn me into a puddle of lust. I don't know how Hermione can withstand it the way she does. I'm so glad you are enjoying the story so far.
Oh, yes, just avoid Hogsmeade and Hermione. Why do I think that will be a tall order?

Looking back over Snape's history, he certainly doesn't have much good luck, does he? *giggle* Thank you so much for your review.
Why do I get the feeling that Severus will not succeed in keeping out of Hermione's presence until the hex wears off? Hee hee! Whether he does or not, thanks for the illuminating update! I'm enjoying this story very much.

*smirk* Now that would make for a rather boring story, don't you think? Thank you so much for your review. I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying it.
Poor Snape gets cursed a lot in fan fiction, but your Shakespearean one is a lot of fum. i hope to see this story continue soon1

He certainly does, doesn't he?! *he he* I'm so you are enjoying it though. Thank you so much for reviewing.
My guess is that Minerva won't let Severus off the hook and will either invite Hermione to Hogwarts, or make Snape order the supplies himself. Can he write without breaking into verse? If he could come with a prepared note for Hermione telling her about the curse, that he would like to date-apprentice her, and what he needed potions wise he might be fine. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

Oh, we'll definitely be seeing Hermione again! To answer your question about writing... well, honestly, I don't know. I never really gave that idea any thought. The muse never proposed letter writing, but now that I think about it, I'd guess I'd have to say no. The spell would still try to force him into flowery declarations of love.
Yep, that sound like Severus. Lay in wait and plot, of course you aren't going to let him go that easy!
Response from snapemylove (Author of Snape's Shakespearean Revelation)
Oh course not. *wink*You know, for all those years of spying, Snape is still rather predictable don't ya think?
Cute idea! I'll be waiting to see how it turns out.
