I believe it is for the best that everyone knows about them right off the bat. Now they won't have to sneak around and pretend not to be a couple when others are around. That must get exceedingly tiresome as it must be in many other stories with this couple.  Hermione has officially graduated from the "young people" club to the "adults" club. I can't help but wonder where Hermione learned to be so advanced in the art of fellatio? Great chapter! 

This is one of my all time favorite stories ever. 

I've been reading some of my favorites list looking for something to suggest to the other readers at the honor of being asked to do so. I have found myself drawn to come back and read this one again and again over the years. 

For a while I had lost it and could not remember the exact name. I started reading stories starting at A, systematically working my way through the alphabet on various sites searching for this story again. I read many nice stories during my quest. Alas, without finding the satisfaction I sought, at some point down the alphabet I changed my tactic and decided to begin reading from Z backwards since the beginning of the alphabet were the stories one always see's first. I finally found it at S, "Soothing Hands" by notsosaintly. I made sure to mark it that time. 

Nothing could be sweeter or more wonderful than finding that only your own hands had the power to take his pain away when it was thought that nothing ever could, and that you would be obliged to caress every millimeter of his entire body with your hands and fingertips for his succour; then, to discover this powerful and courageous wizard craved your company and more. This first chapter is a sweet and erotic tale all of its own. It is both emotionally and physically compelling for those of us who love this pairing. I am sure I will seek it out and read it again and again when the need falls upon me.

Your story is fantastic and I can't wait to read the other chapters!

Hiya NSS!  I fondly remember reading this fic, in those weeks before book 7 came out.  I love this fic.  Not only for it's steamy love scenes, but mostly for the endearing and human way that Severus and Hermione care for each other.  And I'm a sucker for hurt/comfort, especially when it's our dour potions master finally getting a little blessed comfort in his life.
I'm not sure that I ever read the end, way back then.  Book 7 came out, and I lost my taste for the whole Potterverse.  It finally begins to return a bit, and I'm glad I got back to this story.  It remains one of my favorite SS/HG fics.

Oh, this is perfection! 

This is a phenomenal story, dearie. Very touching and hopeful. The head-hopping made it a little difficult for me to follow, but that is likely just me. Of course, now you have me curious if the Longbottoms could possibly be restored with that delightful spell.

It has been some years since  I last read this wonderful story. Surfing through the SSHG Quizzes in search of "old friends", I found this one. I had a wonderful time reading it all over again, the quality of the story has not lessened, it is still a must read for all SSHG fans:-))

This is one of the best fics i have ever read, this is most likly the third or fourth time i have read it since finding it.This story is filled with so many emotions, and i felt every single one of them, i dont think i have laughed or cried as much as i did reading this and i do the same thing everytime.You are a very talented writter, and i hope that once my Fic is posted, The Outcomes of war and the hope for true love, you will read it and give me your oppinion.Ok i am off to read more of your wonderful Fics.
