Thank you. I know poor Hermione the know-it-all is having to come with terms that perhaps she doesn't know it all, but she is making strides. As is Lucius, who is finally learning to think about someone other than himself. Nice to see that he does have some humanity.

I really waffled on having Severus survive, but found that it was more interesting to have a married friend with a wife who keeps trying to fix Lucius up. And he did get Lucius to actually consider breaking his self-imposed isolation from eligible witches. Hopefully this is the right nudge.

Nothing like a bored Lucius, is there? LOL And Ron... Well, Ron's always been a tad clueless when it comes to interpersonal relationships and I think we're going to see that come through. He does have a good heart and he tries, but will it be enough?

LOL That was my thought exactly on her marriage to Ron. The fun part has been finding some sort of semi-logical reason such a smart person would have married someone she was so clearly unsuited for a long term relationship and then have her take the long road of discovery. More coming soon. :)

It was rather cunning for Ron, wasn't it? Of course, he did actually think about using the Basilisk tooth so he is prone to occasional flashes of brilliance. And Lucius simply must be salivating, mustn't he?

I never really saw Ron as a heel or a bad guy, just seriously wondered what JKR was thinking pairing them up (and I see that she has finally seen the light and admitted that perhaps it wasn't the best match). The answer to your question will be out later this week. Awful trusting of her, wasn't it? Of course, she likely did not realize that he can come and go at will because it's his company.

Ron is still in a bit of denial. Other reasons for him being so obstinate will be coming to light very shortly. As to quick, we can all hope.

I'm glad your enjoying his POV. It was hard for me to not use it during the vacation, but it was so important to see what was going on with Hermione. I'm trying to do every other or at most every third chapter from Lucius' POV since he has a lot going on in his life as well, more than he would probably like. LOL

Yeah, no big revelation there about Ron, was there? As to dream or no dream, Hermione's a good girl on that front. :) We'll just have to see how her working for Lucius happens.

Oh, yes, there will be plenty of 'it stops there?' moments. Lucius really is the anti-Ron. Come on, Hermione, you picked someone beneath you, open your eyes. And I'm glad you find the relationship issues believable. I think it's much more dramatic to build up to something rather than bombshell it and wave everything away. I'm not utterly discounting what JKR did, just correcting this whopper of a mistake. :)

Poor Hermione having to deal with her subconscious. It's trying to show her how oblivious Ron is, and he really obliged this chapter, didn't he? After all, she's not the type of person to have a fling, is she. ;)
