It is a pity job!!!! Wow! And he likes her in the way that boys like girls!   I wonder how long it will take for Hermione to like him too. She's a glutton for punishment. It shouldn't take long.

Hmmm... He's paying it himself... It's a pity job!  She's the only applicant. He knows how the wizarding world is about divorce.  He's probably glad she dumped Ronald Weasely. He hates the little git. Anyone with a brain knows Hermione is too good for him.  He may not like Hermione much or maybe he respects her more than he is letting on, but in spite of his poor social skills, he protects people. That's what he does whether he wants to admit it or not. This is my guess. Maybe he's been waiting for a chance at Hermione all these years. Even if he hasn't, I still say he made this job for Hermione.  LOL!  He bothered to read her resume' and she's the only applicant. He probably already knows everything she's been doing since she left school. Well he had to make it at least look like she was applying. Let's find out!
