Old enough. I'm a writer by heart, using the wonderful HP universe (specifically Severus Snape and Hermione Granger) as a canvas for my imagination as I learn the craft and strive to be published one day. In real life, I am a professional with a doctorate in my chosen field.

Thank you for the update! Loving this story, even if it is a while for an update. Totally worth it!
Now, which redhead has been lurking?
I know that it has been some time since you updated, but I really hope that you return to this story at some point. This is not only a beautifully written story, but an incredibly unique one as well. You've done a tremendous job. Thank you for sharing it with us and I hope to read more someday.
Looking forward to finding out more about Molly and Ron, and why they have done as they have done.
Wow, that was unexpected. I don't know much about changelings so this will not only be fun but educational!
Thanks for the update.
Changelings and Empaths? OMG! This can have far reaching consequences for Hermione, Severus, and Rose, can't it? Could this mean that baby Rose could be like Molly and Ron? Quite a twist here, and I can't wait to find out what happens. Well done!

mmm ... interesting. Change into what I wonder. A Weasel?
Are any of the other Weasley offspring affected by this bloodline?
As always trilled to see an update, my love for this story still stands strong:-))
Okay, that was definitely a most unexpected little twist. I'm curious to learn what Molly and Ron's status as changelings (and empaths) has to do with their twisted proclivities.
What Ron did to that poor child-mother was beyond the pale and I don't blame Severus a bit for subsequently praying to the porcelain god.
In a similar situation, I would be doing the exact same thing.
Ah the truth is at hand. Hermione & Severus are so good for each other in this story they balance each other. Love this chapter.

Glad you are enjoying the story. Thanks for reading.
I'm enjoying this story tremendously, evil cliffies and all. I love your use of foreshadowing and flashbacks. Keep writing, please! And soon!

I'm glad you are enjoying the story! Thanks for reading!
Ohhhhh, that was definitely an evil cliffie!!!At any rate, it rather sounds like there are some skeletons about to come tumbling out of the Weasley-Prewett family closet. If it was only Ron himself, I would think that his encounter with the brains in the Ministry or the Horcrux he took turns wearing or both might be responsible for his state. But now I'm wondering if Molly did something to her youngest son that resulted in him turning out the way he did. And if so, what about her other children and Arthur? Curiouser and curiouser.

And I am so glad you are. Thanks for reading!
Arrgghhh! Another evil cliffie. I want to know what happened... I feel sure that somewhere in those memories there is a Molly Weasley plotting. And just how much was Arthur involved? A lot or a little?
"It’s my chance to offer redemption instead of seek it.” This is a powerful reason for someone who has lived through what Severus has lived through to welcome the particular challenges his new job entails... but there's no denying that it's still a hard job.
Thanks for another great chapter.
Beth
ahhhh I need to know what happened!!!

Oh, but bad can be sooo good sometimes. I hope you continue to enjoy it... evil cliffies and all. Thanks for reading!
Robert Malcolm and Isobel Ross McGonagall... Thank God for them and their love for their son, Severus, and his bride, Hermione, and their child, Rose.
I am so very glad that this strong family will be standing with them while little Rose is christened. She may need a good strong family to defend her if worse comes to worst.
I love this story!!!
Beth
OMG! I had no inkling that being a Changling also meant that Ron could turn into a Dementor. This gets scarier by the chapter. And both Ron and Molly will be at the receptioin after Rose's christening? Dear God.Great chapter, btw.Beth

Dumdledore was wrong again, Ron is now a danger to all that come in contact with him. Hopefully Severus and Hermione can keep little Rose safe from the past.
Response from Bardsdaughter (Author of An Orphan For Christmas)
Yes, he was. He always was a little too "my way or no way" when it came to decisions he made. Thanks for reading!

Oh my goodness this is good and I did't realize it wasn't finished. Now I must wait. Excellent story but if this is a pattern with Ron why isn't he in restraints or Azkaban.
