Old enough. I'm a writer by heart, using the wonderful HP universe (specifically Severus Snape and Hermione Granger) as a canvas for my imagination as I learn the craft and strive to be published one day. In real life, I am a professional with a doctorate in my chosen field.

Ohhhh! Such a chapter! Are we ever going to learn what sent Ron off the deep end? ^_^

Hmmm. Will we? May...be.

Thank goodness the baby will be all right— at least for now. But I hate to think that the young mother will not make it. I know how painful this must be for Severus to have to look into her mind, but something tells me it would be more painful for all of them if he didn't use Legilimency.I have so many questions (without answers, I might add) that I am going to go crazy trying to figure out all these clues. I really enjoy the plot and can't wait for the next update. Well done!Beth

Thank goodness the baby is all right. But what about her mother? OMG! This story has had me on the edge of my seat from the beginning. I apologize for not reviewing each chapter as I read it, but I just could not resist going to the next chapter.Merlin, but Hermione would be devastated to learn— what? There are so many questions flying around my head! Obviously there has been much hushed-up Weasley trouble making over the years. What did they do? Why were they allowed to get away with whatever they did? Or didn't do? Why is Harry still protecting Ron? Great story! It's on my favorites list, and I'm really looking forward to your next update. Beth

You made my heart almost stop. I hope the little one eds up with Severus & Hermionie they are the ones who saved her along with poppy. I wonder what They know about Molly that neither Poppy or Severus wants this baby to go to the weasleys, very interesting.

thansk fro the update and for saving one little girl here. I'll trust the judgement of Severus and Poppy, but I really want to know what the elder Weasleys have done. Its very strange how also Ron's appalling life is hushed away. Needs some explanation.
Response from Bardsdaughter (Author of An Orphan For Christmas)
Those explanations are coming, I promise. Thanks for reading!

Baby is ok but what of the mother?
Response from Bardsdaughter (Author of An Orphan For Christmas)
Stay tuned... If everything goes as planned, the mother's fate should be dealt with in the next chapter.

Interesting Poppy aiding and abetting against the Ministry and the Weasleys. Of course this isn't the first time. ^_^

She is such a rebel, isn't she? Can't you just imagine what kind of mischief she, McGonagall, Hooch and Sprout got up to when the students were tucked up in their dorms?Thank you for reading. I hope you continue to enjoy the story.

The poor little mite, it's heartbreaking to have to choose to save one life, or another. I hope there is a happy ending, somewhere, for someone.

Let's just say I get rather agrivated when I invest time in reading stories that don't end right (i.e. happily), so I'll try not to do that to those of you kind enough to read one of mine. Thanks for reading!
