I love how you are showing the backstory of how Hermione and Severus got together. And the absolute love they have for Rose is amazing.

I love this story, absolutely love it. With such parents, Godparents and grandmothers, the little one will know love and feel safe (and probably be more than a little bit spoiled:-))

Talk about a convoluted plan. I can definitely see his misgivings, but something tells me a cute little baby will take car of that. Still curious about the Weasleys.

I'm glad Hermione came up with the idea to keep the baby. It has NOTHING to do with the Weasley's,  although they are a part of the problem. Hermione knew Severus loved the baby immediately, which is why she made the suggestion. I don't think Severus or even Hermione would've been able to give the baby up.

Love is a funny thing, once you are in it, you can't get out. Severus and Hermione love that little girl, and that's all there is to it.

I love the relationship between Minerva and Severus! It's always how I would have pictured it. Cannot wait to see more of this awesome story

So much that isn't apparent, the shifts from one time line to another, and even the way these familiar characters are now so foreign, make this an absolutely maddening read (the canon-loving OCD side of my brain is screaming "what??"), but at the same time I can't put it down for the same reasons, it's not predictable the way fanfiction often can be. (wow that's a giant run on sentence). Please update soon so we van figure more out of this strange tale.

Nice job presenting us snippets of the past that parellel events in the present. It's really an engaging way to help us discover where the characters are and how they got there. And something tells me I know what Hermione's simple solution will be. Though simple may not mean easy.

Oh, poor Severus on so many fronts. At least he's doing this to help someone, to help the little rosebud.

Hmmm... wonder what's up with the Weasley's that she's so determined to keep the baby from them? Other than Ron being a complete arse. Yay for the little one pulling through.

I know I feel the overwhelming urge to kick Ron's arse at this point and Severus doesn't even know what Hermione found. Your descriptions are amazing. I can almost smell the filth.

That is really an amazing picture you paint of one of the worst places in a civilized world. And Ron's definitely an arse and I can't believe Seerus has gone along with protecting him given what he was going to do to Hermione.

What in the world drove Ron to such insanity, and how could Molly condone his behaviour? I'm hoping that Hermione and Severus will decide to keep the baby, and make sure that she is not tainted by her fathers sins.  

It is always hard to loose someone even if you did not know them when you know the horrible things they have been forced to endure.  It must bring back for Severus horrible memories when he had no control of the situations he was forced to be in.  I hope Hermiones decision is to adopt the baby and keep her safe with them.

“And the answer is among the simplest I’ve ever reached.”I think Hermione will want to adopt this little rosebud.  We don't yet know what Severus saw in the mind of the baby's mother... or what sent Ron into this spiral to hell... or what Molly Weasley has done to earn Poppy's and Severus' enmity.  I can't help but wonder if Molly's behavior might have been what drove Ron to addiction and ruin.  But I'm almost certain there will be a fight over this baby between Severus and the Weasleys, and I don't think Molly will like it when the allegations are made and the proof is provided.This is a whale of a tale you're telling here!!!  Thanks.Beth
