What do you mean, finite! You can't possibly be finished? There is a plot here. A fascinating plot about Severus and Hermione and whether she decides to go to Avalon! Let's say after some lemony fun, she decides to go anyway and he starts to prepare her for the event, but Hermione realizes as she is preparing that she is starting to want to stay with Severus and then she changes her mind, and then Severus gets to be happy! POUT! Were there some rules you had to follow when you wrote this that has deprived us of a highly satisfying and well crafted read?

What a gentleman! He is actually being very kind considering that she cares nothing about his life except what she can get from him. I'm sorry for Hermione, but Severus is correct. Most of us feel like she does. I certainly haven't gotten anything I had hoped for. One must resign themselves to the reality of the mediocrity of real life.  Only, I suspect she is about to get an offer that most of your readers would savor with relish. 

Kinky. Too bad Hermione isn't as interested in him as he seems to be in her. What a bummer to always desire what you can't really have. Poor Snape. What would the dynamic be if the person who's feet were being lavished with attention was getting as much as he was out of this ritual and was participating emotionally.
