Age 59, I have been a Severus and Alan Rickman fan for a couple years. I post SS/HG stories.
I went to NY last week to see Seminar (Jan 4, 20012) It was wonderful.
Shades of Severus in his character and his house. I was priviledge to see Alan up close an personal after the play.

Oh my that's slow going. Poor Snape. At least he trusts now that she's not deliberately slow, but deliberately careful. A white ceiling? That's great help, indeed. 
So... he's a very special case? Does he still someone' thirst for revenge? Some military conspiration, do they think him a Russian spy?? Yikes, what a thought! Whatever it is, this fact can only make it harder to find him, esp without the Aurory, I'm afraid. At least they seem to have spoken one of the languages Snape is familiar with. I agree with a co-reviewer, that Mrs Granger's just-in-case notes to her only daughter are sad to read. Parents of Muggleborns miss out so much of their kids!

Yes, it is slow going. You have a lot of idea's there. I may have to go back and rethink a few things LOL.I very much agree that the Parents do give up a lot. Can yoou imagine sending off and 11 year old to a totally different reality, one they can never hope to share or understand. Thank you for your many thoughts.

This is really terrifying--particularly that she is having to go so slowly. You'd think a few trial-and-error visits to hospitals that are getting government money for John Doe cases would be of use. She could take Chance and they could pretend to be government auditors or something. Anyway, I really like the way this is developing. And I adored Hermione's parents. The little notes on the off chance that she'd visit, and waiting their dinner until she made it home, were very sad. I hope she visits them more regularly now! And I hope they begin to get some clues to narrow down the search--it's so tragic that he's kept there in decline.

I've only been in one ICU, not a comatose ward, and the patient's made a lasting impression on me. My ex brother in law was in there and his cousin (who died a week later) they were in a car accident.It's is scary for Severus to be in this place with people who have no care for him.

You've updated, or should I say: your chapter finally managed to come out of the queu. And the plot thickens.. If this institution indeed keeps others drugged as well it might be more difficult to get him out than it initially seemed to be. And though this provides her with a moral dilemma I can't imagine she won't expose this too, her Griffyndor nature just prevents her from turning a blind eye to this kind of injustice.

Yes it is. I think once she shared minds with this very broken man and showed him he was worth loving he would be a very different man.
I was engrossed with this story when I had read it before it was updated. Hope the hospital gets its comeuppance! :D Thanks for posting professor vector to another school. Nice touch there! :D

Gersknightlady here: I sincerely apologize for starting this without a solid Beta. My beta has so much to do in her life she has little time to work on these. Two other ladies stepped up and have tried hard but between us I guess we don't know the punctuation rules well enough. I do not know when another chapter will be posted. I am still writing on ch 17. I will continue to look for more help.

New beta on board, we will see how it goes. My other two ladies have their strengths to help with with corrections and also Britt picking (of which I have no clue). Between the four of us, Lydia, Suzanne, Nicole and I we will hopefully keep this story coming.

Good point about allowing his wife to serve a few years as headmaster so she'd get a portrait. And his own special Room of Requirement will be very useful when they want to sneak away from the kids! :)

Very interesting start! Hope Snape can provide some more information, like hearing names from doctors or even language or accents that might be helpful to find out in which part of the UK or the continent he might be. And if Granger needs people for a search party I think a lot of us are happy to help :) Is she familiar with the interweb? Can she find information about hospitals with unclaimed patients? And another thing I thought of, who is paying for his stay in this hospital? It's not that he had a muggle health care insurance.Hope you'll soon find a new beta... and update soon!

Well aren't my readers smart. Smarter than me... I never thought of different languages LOL..Like Star Trek they always found aliens who spoke English... LOL well I may have to revise some of this ... Yes, she knows about the Internet. I just added the new chapter to he Queue. I did find two very good beta's. Thanks you for your review.

Thanks for your reply. By admitting that you didn't thought of different languages, are you suggesting that Snape might not be in a hospital in the UK in the first place? If so I do hope for him he is able to deduct wich language they do speak because if he has been in a coma since his arrival there they'll likely address him in their own language. I do think there is canon evidence both Snape and Hermione are familiar with other languages. Snape because of his earlier contacts with Durmstrang and Hermione because of the holidays to France with her parents - or are those non canon?I'm excited to know your next chapter is already in the queue, hope it will appear soon.

excellent start! Snapes' right of course she's supposed to be smart! Now, where's a list of all coma-patients of.... hmm, Britain? Can Snape at least make out the language "they" speak when they drug him?

Thank you, It may take some time for him to find her. I hope I can get mor eout soon. I need a new beta. :( My wonderful beta is finding job and life too busy now. I was so fortunate to have her for several long epis stpries and a number of years.
