Reviews for The Philosopher's Fate
While I find the premise a bit unconvincing (the two fools would be dead sooner than later on their own), it`s a nicely written story, and I look forward to reading how you develop the Hr/S relationship. Thank you.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
They're also probably fool enough to think they'd be fine on their own!
So no ministry enforced coitus,eh? Poor Herms and Snape, this could be a long year. ~eyes warnings worredly~
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
No explict rule, but it is implied in the word 'marriage' and the Ministry is going to be as annoyed as my readers if they don't eventually get it on! There will be chapters in the future for the ratings to apply to.
Ah, nice setup for a MLC fic. I like a Headmaster!Snape who's getting some :-)
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
He will get some, but he'll have to wait a few chapters yet!
Wow- really interesting start to this story. Snape seems to be workign pretty hard to be nice. I'm interested to see where this goes.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Thank you. Snape is acutely aware that they are both victims of Voldy's new regime here and Hermione blames him because he's a Death Eater. He's also trying hard to fulfil his promise to Dumbledore to protect the students - or one particular student in this case. :)
I like your version of the chapter better :). Hoping Severus remembers Hermione soon.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Oh, I'm glad! I like it better too; I think he deserved a happy ending.
Oh noes! :0
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Oh, yes, I'm afraid! :)
Leave it to Ron to freak about the wrong thing.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
He still fancies her, though, and hates Snape. I daresay it's desperately important to him. :)
What?!?! Oh, I do hope his confusion at the end is temporary. After all that, he doesn;t remember her ... that would be awful, and you wouldn't do that to us, right? I almost feel bad for Ron and Harry, having such news thrown their way in a moment of crisis, and they can't even get their questions answered. It will be a miracle if they actually make it to a pensieve. Great chapter!
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Thanks! I'll resolve all the question as soon as I get back from holiday.
That last line really threw me for a loop. Totally unexpected twist!A very exciting chapter. Well written. I like the way you simply skimmed over the parts from the book. We all know what happened. No need to dwell on it.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Glad you liked it - took me ages to blend it in with canon. Thanks for reviewing!
Oh that was scary! What's even scarier is he doesn't recognize her. I wonder why?
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
I'll upload early next week, I promise! Next chapter will answer your qestions. :)
Wonderfully handled. Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Thank you. Stay tuned, I'll try to upload in a few days. :)
Poor Hermione and poor Severus. She wants everything to work out now and he can't win for losing... Another fabulous chapter, my friend!
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Thanks! She probably thinks this is Ron and Lavender all over again, but worse. :)
Well, it was good while it lasted, eh? It is hard to fault either of them here as they both have valid points. I hope their age difference doesn't become a source of contention. But then, despite the fact that Severus is all grown up, he has only ever loved teenaged girls, so he really knows no difference, right? Great chapter, as always.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Good point; hadn't even thought of that. He's just as ill-equipped to deal with this as she is. Thanks :)
Oh, poor Hermione. The age difference is going to be hard on her.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
She's going to have to grow up fast.
I like their developing relationship.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Thank you.
Hermione's finally figuring out how difficult Snape's life is. :)
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
She is. She's finally realising why he was so miserable all the years she's known him. :)
I liked how Herms combined the dentention essay with that week's homework. Multi-tasking at its finest! Tho' I wish I had that sort of memory (to remember what assignment I had 3-4 years prior)--I'm lucky to remember what I did last week.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
I know, she's such a swot! Thanks for reviewing. :)
Very interested to see where this goes- I like the idea of hermione not already knowing Severus is good. I have yet to see a version of the challenge that takes place during DH - now I'm off to read more!
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
I wanted to do one which didn't rely on him being pureblood as we now know he isn't. And the Aristotle quote gave me a very small window to set it in when their ages worked! Hope you enjoy the rest.
Lovely! I can't wait to see how lessons progress as well as their relationship.Thank you for sharing~

Thank you :)
He's being so gentle an patient with her. Probably the smartest way to go about it at the minute.Looking forward to seeing what happens next!
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Yes, he's upholding his promise to Dumbledore to protect the students - all of them. He hates the idea of her being handed over to another Death Eater if they mess this marriage up!
Lovely tension and the carrows are just menacing.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Thank you very much! Yes, aren't they awful? And they get worse ;)
I like your take on the MLC in canon. Glad to see they're not falling all over themselves and hopefully have a chance to build their relationship up.
Response from peskipiksi (Author of The Philosopher's Fate)
Thanks. I had to put the MLC into canon to be able to use the Aristotle quote - I only had a 3 month window! Glad you like it.
