Reviews for Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960
Yes, Azkaban would be so much easier, and in this upside-down world, they'd probably have lots of friends in there. But it would be cowardly and counter-productive. "Don't you see, Hermione?" of course I think she sees. How could she not, when he retreats into his own little world and when he doesn't and they both get frustrated and feel like the whole damn world has conspired against them and everything that is damnably good and righteous; YES, it's easier to just cop out and want to run away and hide and pretend it doesn't exist and go eat worms (did you ever hear that saying? "Nobody loves me, everybody hates me, guess I'll go eat worms") But what good would it do? Let the bad guys know that they finally got to them? What would it prove? Nothing. Except that the dark times finally won them out and they gave up. What good would it do? Only getting probably some of the few people left out there that are dedicated to trying to bring the Light back finally out of sight. Gotten rid of them. Somebody's got to start changing things around for the Light again. Severus and Hermione are the best bet for that, even if they don't feel like it most all of the time.

You're right. :-) Wait and see.
Would Lucius vouch for him? :)

Thank you! I'm glad you liked that bit of a backstory.
Hmm. He needs to make a miracle soup that the customers just can't resist! :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Yes! That would be the perfect solution.
But why won't Padma say more about Madame Agan?
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Because she's scared. For good reason.
Who's in the Tower House? :0
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Hmm...
P.S. I noticed the word "Splodge" in the banner, but not in the text of the diary. Is that an important clue?
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
The word is in the banner because the -images- of blood-ink splodges are in the chapter. And that is very important indeed. :-)
Nice last line :) this is a very interesting story.
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)

Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)

It's shit work, but it's a job... :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
They'd do anything, really, just to stay free ...
Excellent. Now find one for Hermione. :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
One step at a time ...
Ooo. That's a worry they don't need.
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Alas ...
One day it will be real. :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
There's always hope, yes.
Hopefully Severus will realise what he can actually hold in reality is much better than the shadows of his fantasy world. :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Yes ...
A home's a start, now for the tricky bit... jobs. :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
It's a beginning.
So, employment at Hogwarts is out.
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Unfortunately, yes.
Who to believe? :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
A tricky question. Especially since people they meet don't say everything they know and may not know everything there is to know.
She hides behind numbers, and he hides within his mind. When will they feel safe? :)
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Both Hermione and Severus have their own survival strategy. One day, they may not need it anymore ... or at least not as much as they do now.
Oops. Attempting to fly that distance after so long was a bit ambitious! :0
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Yes. But his grip on reality is not very good atm.
It makes perfect sense, that in a Voldemort-ruled society, the one wizard that would not be named would be Harry Potter. I don't know what happened to Lucius, but I'm sure he wouldn't have approved!
Response from JunoMagic (Author of Prisoners of Azkaban, Probationary Diaries August 2009, Prisoners #19-09-1979 and #09-01-1960)
Until Voldemort's death, Lucius was his right hand. I can't say if he approved, though. Privately, at least, he may have thought that ridiculous.
