I was born in Berlin (Germany) on the 10th of January. I'm happily married to an American. My greatest passions are writing, reading and drawing pictures. I spend a lot of time on the computer (especially in winter) because I want to know everything and the internet is the best way to sate my hunger. I became addicted to Harry Potter when reading it to my young cousins.
Reviews for Innocence Lost
good chapter. I feel sorry for Harry, and I hope he comes out of his shell soon. I do adore when he lets his emotions affect the things around him. I've done that before with him--the eerie wind and flaming green eyes. Lovely.I wonder if Hermione will find out Snape has a new hobby? hahaha. Who is the artist for that picture? I'd hoped you'd have written that in the a/n at the end. It's great work. Let them know, and if it is you, good job!
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Thanks. I illustarted it. It is actually a lot bigger. You could look at the original at Ashwinder when they upload chapter 4. southern_witch_69's response: okay. I'll do that. Good work! I wish I could draw like that. I have a lot of trouble with noses and hands.
I'm ok with the lenght of your chapters, and yes it counts for something if you update rather often, meaning at least once a week I bet you're having Lucius making his entrance on the stage. I wonder how it will push Severus into action with Hermione. I also hope you'll tell us more about what has happened with Harry and about that strange object.
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Yes the bad guys will make an entrance in the next chapters. And Harry will discover what that object really is.
This is story is very interesting.
Nice atmosphere. Looking forward to reading more.
I feel sorry for her friends, not knowing the truth, but it's necessary. I like the snips back to Snape's past and more about his character. And... I'm glad that she's trusting him now.
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Thanks for reviewing all parts of the story. As for Hermione, well she trusts him to a point, yes.
I like how he's trying to care for her. It was sad about her parents, but she would have only been killed, too. Thanks for sharing the poem.
I don't blame her for being a little wary of him, especially not after all that happened.
when she said that she hated him at first, i worried that he'd maybe done something to her or her friends/family. Glad he didn't. Great start
I like the developing of your story so far. The way you have Voldemort punish Severus is very clever, it's one I've never seen in fanfiction. It is as if he knew how to hurt his follower where it would hurt the most.
ut oh......malfoy means trouble
I like this story. You have written a suitably angsty Snape. And I'm sure, when she wakes up, Hermione will mix things up quite nicely. One thing, I find the chapters to be rather short. As a reader, short chapters are kind of like foreplay with no follow through.
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
I like short chapters. And honestly I could join 3 chapters together and make them one to please the readers and disruped my style or the other way around. I will write my story the way I like it.
Response from wolfen18 (Reviewer)
Fair enough. In the end, perhaps it's not the size of the chapter that counts, but the quality of the writing
great chapter. thank you.
this is intriguing! i like this snape. he's mysterious/menacing, but underneath he seems like a nice guy. (that's how i like to think of him). write more soon?
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Thanks for the review. Yes, that's how I think of him as well. The next chapter is already up for validation and my beta is currently working on chapters 3 and 4.
I really have been enjoying this story. I hope there will be more soon.
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
The new chapter is up.
familiar voice: Dumbledore's portrait? Can't wait to read more of Harry's and Severus' confrontation. And what about Harry's obsession with Riddle's award?
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Mmmmaybe, I'm not telling. Yes, the confrontation should be interesting. Thanks for the review.
Oooh, beautiful beginning. I'm excited to read more! The description of the desolate scene before Snape is, like, Edgar Allen Poe...or something. Very intriguing. Well done!

Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Thank you! I'm pretty proud of the beginning.
yay! i thoroughly enjoyed that. but you're so evil for such a cliffhanger!
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Thanks! The cliffie is not soo terribly evil. I think it's pretty easy to guess.I have to admit, however, that I can't seem to stop writing cliffies - maybe I should write for stupid soap operas.
Response from inebriator (Reviewer)
i agree!
Ahhhhhhh!!!
I love and hate you.
Love you for the story, hate you for the meanie Cliffie, which i know is kinda obvious but still I want more! Update soon!

Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Oh, well I thought it was rather obvious to a point. I think everyone can guess who the familiar voice belongs to.´Thanks for the review.
Ack!!! I hope S&H move elsewhere; Grimmauld is not a good place for them without privacy, and with hotheads like Harry and Moody around. Okay, I'm curious about who the "familiar voice" is but even if it's Dumbledore, I know Harry will still be hostile to Severus. Thanks for the new chapter!!
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
There is nowhere they can go, now is there? There will be explanaitions in the next chapter. And there are still Horcruxes to find - so they won't stay at Grimmauld Place forever. Thanks for the review:)
So, what was put in Percy's food (and I can't wait to see everyone's reactions to the newcomer)? Nicely, done, can't wait for the next chapter :)
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
I'm sure you can guess what was in the food. The next chapter will be all about explanaitions. Thanks for the review.
Great story! I like the way that Severus' and Hermione's relationship was slowly developed. Please write an update, it's a great plot.
Congratulations on getting married! Your story has my attention and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
Thank you I'm happy that you like it. And thank you for reviewing.
Hmmm...why do I have the feeling that the blond man is Draco, in disguise?
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
I have no idea...
"Did it never occur to you," Dumbledore continued, "that Draco's mother was afraid for her child and went to seek my counsel?" "I… no… not really," Harry answered, a bit puzzled now.Well, no, actually, I didn't think about that. Although, it *might* have happened. . . .
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
I re-read the Spinner's End scene before I wrote the chapter, and I thought that if Narcissa is willing to risk the Dark Lord's displeasure (in case Snape or Bella tell him something) than why shouldn't she have gone to Dumbledore? It's just a thought though.
Response from cmwinters (Reviewer)
I think it's actually a reasonable thought. It's certainly NOWHERE NEAR the most far-fetched theory I've heard! :)
Oh, this is all bad news.... Harry is still as stubborn and hard-headed as ever, closed to anything Dumbledore might say in favor of Severus; Draco has had enough and is now gone; Percy got Hermione's letter because she didn't put a security charm on it; and now Severus will be attacked and Hermione won't do anything to hurt poor widdle Harry (boo! hiss!). I may be as stressed out as your poor beta!! Thanks for the new chapter. Perhaps chocolate will help your beta feel better...
Response from Juli_Min (Author of Innocence Lost)
I love long reviews. Harry is set in his ways, although he is quite young. I always wondered if he didn't realize that he is just as prejudiced as the Slytherins in some way. I will sent my beta a chocolat covered Snape that should help her.
Response from June W (Reviewer)
chocolate-covered Snape.... drool....
