There was no following anyone around, just sneaking into his quarters. Severus 1, Umber 0.Awesome that Severus seems to be sticking around much longer than normal this time, and the hand kiss was lovely.Looking forward to what's coming up next. ^_^

So all they need is a sample of the potion and a Floo. lol Severus' demeanor is so spot on in this. Although, why Hermione was surprised that a exDeathEater, spy would break into a man's room to snoop, was funny. I have expected her to be a bit more proactive. But maybe Harry didn't rub off on her.

Umber is a toad and needs to be taken down!It would seem Snape took Hermione's comment about not knowing how to behave in civilized company to heart. Apparently he has perfect manners when he chooses to use them!

Maybe it's me, but I feel like not much happened in this chapter. Though I think back, and I suppose I'm wrong. Anyway, I enjoyed reading it, and I look forward to more.

Nice to see Severus and Hermione teaming up, and I enjoyed Severus's version of a compliment. :)Amusing to see the two of them being the peanut gallery in the crowd; once upon a time, Hermione would have been shushing Harry and Ron, and Severus would have been handing out detentions like nobody's business. ;)Kind of amused that after the fishy man with the fishy smell, Hermione wanted fish and chips, lol.Looking forward to seeing what they come up with to get him. ^_^

Interesting start. I'm curious to learn more about what Hermione's up to in her research and see how she entangles Snape in it.
The first thing that came to my mind after reading the chapter was " no it's already over" then I wondered what could be the prompt words as I didn't notice anything weird or strange words. You even manage to put a word from last week's list. That was a very good chapter. I haven't finished reading the other entries but you already are in good place for my vote this week.
