Hello all, I am a 53 year old from NZ. Although SSHG is how I started and still my main pairing, I'll give pretty much any pairing a try, whether it be reading or writing. Sev and Herms need a bit of variety at times. ;)

Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Oh yes, I did! :P
YEAH!!! Relief for pent up frustrations for everyone! Wait a minute - someone please kill Ron Weasley in a slow and excruciating manner. Love your plot twists - thanks for your hard work
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Poor Ron. Nobody loves him... :)
Ron. It's gotta be Ron, and WTF is he doing interrupting them like that?!?! Excellently hot and frustrating chapter, m'dear!
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
He is on a mission to save Hermione from the evil Potion master's clutches. Or so he thinks. :)
This is not nice madam....but very good cliffie! We all know who is at the door and so one chorus of "GO AWAY RON" should be sufficient! and maybe a hex or two or three
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
She'll sort him out. :)
Okay, so who needs to be hexed? Ron? Couldn't Harry have hid that damn map?
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Clever girl,

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!You are turning coitus interruptus into an art form. Poor Snape. Poor Hermione. And poor ... Ron?
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
*bows* Why thank you! ;)
GRRRRRRR *frustrated* Has the whole world--school in this case consipred against them. And couldn't Harry occupy Ron with a game of exploding cards on chess. Because I can see no one else barging in like that.
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Harry doesn't think anyone else knows. ;)
The whole world seems to be against them. If I were Hermione, I would hex her stupid friends onto the moon, lol. I can't remember but I thought Harry knew, so it has to be Ron at the door. Looking forward to your post, hint, hint.
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
I can't say too much, but whoever it is had better watch out! :)
OMG!!!Cliffhanger much? Why must you torture me?!?!!I want to read more ;pAngela~~
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
It's because I know you love it! xxx :)
Pure torture this is!I'm suspecting a certain Weasley! Grrr... Do they not think! Please update soon!!
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
LOL. Torture? Who me? :P
Such a sweet scene at the end. I am glad that our dear Potions professor has found love at last, and that Harry now knows how to keep his eyes open and his mouth shut.
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Harry is growing up! :)
Haha - at the beginning of our Voyeuristic Exchange, it appears that Severus Snape now has the appeal/effect of a Sparkly!Vampire, lolThough you've redeemed the chapter with a very puddle-worthy scene, keep it up!

This wasn't where I expected this chapter to go, but I just loved it! You've explored the "getting-to-know-you" aspect of their relationship, the UST, and now the romance and caring! I just LOVE how this relationship is developing. And your writing has great tone, pacing, and touches of humor. I'm checking daily to see if you've posted another chapter. Keep up the good work!
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Thanks! :)
Awww...Just: awww...SO sweet and heart-warming. Thank you!
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Thanks! :)
Wow! I adore this, really - it's just beautiful and very hot. :)(I've been reading too much serious stuff lately methinks...)
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Gotta have some fun! :)
I've passed over this several times since the title didn't catch my eye, but I decided to give it a go today and I'm glad I did. This is a really sweet story that has brought a smile to my face. I can't wait to read the next chapter.
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Funnily enough, I spent ages trying out different titles, and in the end the story just wasn't the same with the one it has. Thank you for reading anyway! :)
“Look after her, Poppy. She means everything to me,” he whispered...To let his guard down this way shows just how much Hermione means to Severus. It is not surprising that he chose to spend the night in the Infirmary watching over her. I have always thought of Severus as a very private man capable of great passion and love. It's good to see this relationship developing between them! And I'm tickled pink that Poppy is so supportive of the love that has formed between the Potions master and the Lioness of Gryffindor.I like the way you have portrayed Harry so maturely. He has really grown up. I can only imagine what Ron will say when he figures out what is going on. Will Harry tell Ginny? Swearing her to secrecy?Wonderful chapter, sunny! Beth
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Thanks again, Beth! :)
I have just come across this absolutely wonderful story today (I'm relatively new to this site) and I have been eagerly 'catching up' on it ever since it's discovery. I just love the way you write and your Severus is spot-on in the way I see him! What an amazing read; it has just the right amount of sweetness and sexiness to keep it balanced. So many authors are just not capable of sustaining the 'slow burn' aspect of a story and building up on the sexual tension of the relationship; perhaps it's an age thing (I've just read your profile and we are the same age!) but I definitely appreciate this kind of writing skill you have perfected! I now simply can't wait for the next update! :-)

Very nice, ma'am! And good job Harry, too. I'm really enjoying this story; thank you for continuing to post it. You do a very good job with the characters and I like that. Thanks, Cat

Thanks once again, Cat! :)

*pant, pant, pant**rereads chapter**pant*
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
LOL. Don't wear yourself out, peej. :)
Ah, still brilliant and wonderful. *swoons at kisses*Alas, I am a lowly Muggle, but I do not know how to interpret the simple gesture of his finger tracing her palm.
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
Where I grew up it was supposed to mean "let's shag." But it was usually done in jest, as in this story. :)PajamaPants's response: Mystery solved! Thanks!
I nearly fell out of my chair when I read that Professor Snape stripped. This seems so incredibly unlike the sheltered man that we're used to reading about. I hope he reveals later what prompted him to suddenly disrobe. It's amusing that their tenous relationship started with public nudity and has just now progressed to hand holding. :) I wonder, does he still disrobe every morning for his exercises? Does he redress himself before joining Hermione to watch the sunrise? :)
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
I think being comfortable with physical nudity is not the same as being comfortable with emotional exposure. He didn't really expect anyone to be around, and when he realised she was there, he couldn't show any embarrassment, or it may be contrived as weakness, which I think would be more threatening for him. By coming back, she proved that she was not going to judge him, and by accepting her presence, he accepted her as well. Well, that's my take on it, anyway!
PajamaPants's response: Ah, I'm on board with that answer. It makes sense now. :)I looooooooooove this story. I think my favorite part of this chapter (aside from the obvious descriptions) is when she replies that she's pondering 'Hidden assets'.Awesome.*squishes chapter again*
Response from sunny33 (Author of The Runner)
LOL. And he has NO idea what she is on about. :D
I believe Severus does not show emotion but under the right circumstances, he will show how he feels. American Indians have a rep for being stoic but see us in a family gathering and you would be hard pressed to keep from laughing with the rest of us. BTW, F.A.R.T means? Loved the chapter.

Fangirl Association Robbi Texas. We made it up one day for a laugh. :)
