Like many proud alumni of the honorable Hufflepuff House, ApollinaV is a rabbid Huffle-hugger, champion pear-tickler, and founding member of Cleansweep-Streakers Guild (the AV-Eyeful is so named in her honor). Since graduating Hogwarts, she done 'responsible' and 'professional' things - and resolves not to do that anymore. Dreadful amounts of paperwork.

*nods I hope it continues to deliver for you. Thanks! AV
I think Albus might want to find another portrait to hide out in for a while. :)
Oh Im gona like this Marraige law story :)
WOW! What a gut-wrenching, heart-breaking chapter. Well, now she finally knows the truth. Maybe she can let herself love and appreciate him now. Perhaps she can even persuade him to forgive himself so they can have a real life together.
Hermione has had quite an eventful, topsy-turvy week in her quest to uncover truths about her husband--I am on pins and needles regarding her next conversation with Severus! Will she confront him? Will she try to subtly skirt around the issue and give him an opportunity to tell her without her prompting?
Oh, to have been a fly on the wall for Minerva's lambasting of Albus' portrait! That little scene might have done Severus' heart good if he could only have seen it.
Oh, awesome! The tide is turning!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Indeed, it is! Thanks Deb! AV
"It was enough happy juice to make a dementor produce his own patronus
"what else can you do to me, extend my life sentence ?"
J'adore !!! C'est un plaisir à relire.

Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Ah... well... depends on your definition of too soon. Angst muse always makes a dramatic entrance whenever things get too cozy. Thank you! AV

Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
*bows humbly* Thank you m'dear. *kisses!* AV
Missing him already? That's good news. Oh and I'd love to see Harry and Ron's faces if they ever learn that they drink something of Snape. *smirk*
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
*cough* *sputter* *choke* I think they'd turn green and vomit slugs if they knew they'd consumed Snape-skin. Thanks m'dear! AV
I laughed SO HARD. yay!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
*Big Grins* I love getting a giggle. Thanks! AV
My brother has a saying: "Junk expands to fit available space." It is soooo true, as nicely illustrated by Hermione's growing purse problem.I am really enjoying this so far. I have some catching up to do, but I had to make a comment about the purse situation.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Oh absolutely! But then I always end up carrying around Mommie-bags even though I don't have kids. And they're positively filled with everything I could ever consider needing --- except usually what I need. Thanks! AV
yay! you're back! this story, i mean. thanks so much and mucho smoochiesps why do i suddenly have this craving for lebanese food?
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Yep. It suddenly occured to me just how long had passed since I'd updated it - Whoops!Oooh... Lebanese... *nom nom nom*Thank you sweetie!
This is great! I have really enjoyed the back and forth - even if Hermoine is a bit shrewish!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Oh I definitely agree. Hermione is a shrewish.Thank you! AV
I'm so glad you haven't abandonned this. I'm dying to see their relationtionship develop and for him to accept to quit Azkaban because he finally know he deseeves happiness.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Oh no, it's not abandoned. In fact it's complete. I just got held up posting it, and then realized how much time had passed. Whoops! Thank you. AV
Response from snitchette (Reviewer)
I'm so glad to hear it's already finished. I hope you'll have the time to post more in the future. BTW how many more chapters can I expect?
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
There are 62 chapters total, though I believe I doubled up on some chapters when posting to this archive. It's already fully loaded on FFnet and AFFnet. I have the next chapter in the Que here, and I'm committed to posting regularly. Thanks! AV
I remember how much I enjoyed this as I followed your posting on fanfiction.net. It is such a great read. I'm glad you are posting it here.
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Why thank you. I'd been posting here and then got lazy, then it just slipped my mind - and when I realized how long it had been since I last updated - well, it was quite embarassing. Sorry about that. AV
I'm SO glad you updated - this is one of my favourite stories. Looking forward to the next installment!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Thank you so much, I'm so happy you've remained with it and are still enjoying it. I'd forgotten how long it's been since I posted. The next chapter is in the que. All the best, AV
THANK YOU FOR UPDATING I AM ADDICTED TO THIS STORY. out of curiousity--where can one buy pickled walnuts? are they good?
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Your so welcome. When it finally occured to me how long it's been - it was downright embarassing.England - mostly. They're a strange English delicacy often served around the winter holidays, and they can be ordered online. They look like oily black prunes. I am told that they're actually very good - despite sounding thoroughly nasty. Crunchy, nutty, soft, and vinegary. The walnuts are plucked and pickled before they reach maturity - and brined while they're still green. But I've never had one myself. *kisses*AV
Response from mock_turtle (Reviewer)
Sorry about the random questions--but the walnuts are pickled while still in the hull? odd. well, it can't be much stranger than pickled eggs... :)
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
I believe so. The hull is relatively soft though. But that's what I'm informed of through others. (I've asked the same geeky questions myself) I've not actually had any, but it seemed unique and simply a Snape-food. AV
:) Tiny baby steps, right?
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Naturally. I abhore fics where the main characters go from loathing to lust in 3.2 seconds. Thanks deb! AV
LOL, AV, what a conniver!
Response from ApollinaV (Author of The Gilded Cage)
Oh absolutely. Did you expect any different. *evil grins**blows kisses* AV
