I'd like to be there when they'll bump into each other. Actually I'm sure I will. As ever, you're a wonderful writer. I can feel the underlying presence of bitterness, loneliness and sadness, but I can also see hope too. Hope for comfort, companionship and maybe something else if life is willing.

Feel like I've tripped over a door sill and fallen into a neighbor's apartment--don't know exactly how I got here or whether I really want to stay--but it looks interesting. 

Maybe I'll just hide and watch, perhaps I'll get lucky. 

It's the wet heat that does it, you know.

And this story isn't even very AU or EVE...
No smut necessary to make it a great story.

It must have been a hard thing for Molly to see her beloved daughter replaced by none other than Severus Snape.

Very nice. I like that there was no smut. I think the relationship was stronger without it. I like the last bit in Al's POV. I think that gave a nice fullness to it. One thing it did notice: he says that the photo taken in the states had the four of them, and then a sixth person joined them. Should it be the "fifth" person? I might have mis-read, but just wanted to mention. Absolutely lovely, and moving!!

You know this doesn't need the smut.  It is beautiful and poetic... a tribute to survival and how love is supposed to come from friendship. 

I don't think it needed smut at all.  It was wonderful and perfect!
