Harry feels that the only way to keep Snape from serving an undeserving stint in Azkaban is to go through a bonding ceremony with him, thus proving that if Harry Potter has enough faith in Severus Snape to marry him, the man can't be all that bad. How long will it take before the ruse turns real?

I adore the world of HP.
Thanks for stopping by. I'm off to stir my cauldron.

I really would like to slap that Skeeter bint round the back of the legs!
I always love the idea of a sleeping and relaxed Snape
Oh dear! Loving it
Am I wrong to be annoyed with Harry?
Ooh...poor, sexually frustrated Snape. And I always wondered about that Rosmerta.
A fabulous start.

thank you. I've decided to read this again. I couldn't remember what it was at first. Glad I am though. Hahaha. Is that weird? :O)

This fic has enthralled me all day...totally adored it and a perfect ending. x
Sad...but full of hope
Well played, everyone
Oh dear! What a dilemma.
Yep! Fabulous
Loved Ron in this chapter
OMG! OMG! OMG!
It happened!
And I was suprised! Why was I so surprised?!
It was Harry! Bloody brilliant you are. (Makes me fear the bottom!Snape again, but nevertheless: Awwww.)
All the well written rest aside: Yay, rub it in her face! I discovered that epilogues do have the tendency to be the weakest part of a story. But Madam JKR made it art. Epic fail epilogue art!
Well, there was everything it here: Some snogging, some wanking, some famous-author-dumping, some regreds, some denial, some hurt, some comfort, some fun.
Uh. Ginny. I have to admit that - since I never cared much for Potter - I never cared much for her fate. - *Drastic change* -
But you handled her so careful till here, I have faith you'll make her happy, yes? Too late for suggestions, though. Still, something weird would be nice. How about Filch? Or letting her study biology and fall happily for the Giant Squid (I bet something that THIS already exists somewhere out there....)
I am suprised they managed to dance. There is nothing more akward than trying to dance with someone of the same gender. But well, they are obviously in love, eh? They could trip on each others feet and wouldn't realize it. Wonder how they are supposed to deny that any longer. Cozy.
BTW: That interview made me wonder about a lot of things. Harry could be outraged for Snape saying that things have been solved and there would be no need for them to see Ginny again. Or he is grateful for Snape overstepping his shadow and jumping to the rescue (partly his own, but still). And Skeeter got pampered and insulted at the same time. Now what will she write?!
Good Lord! Did you write it on purpose like that?! You're brilliant if you did so. Uhi, I'll take that as a cliffy. I just looove cliffies.
“You… got a new hair cut?” *roflsnort* men checking their list... Bwhahaha. Too funny.
I very much liked Hermione musing about her marrying Snape to keep him out of Azkaban. I had to smile very wide at that.
It was a sad situation, though.
It's wonderful that you aren't just shoving Lily and Ginny aside to make way for senseless shagging. I am halfway trough and they are both still struggling. That's great. Well, not for them.
How is Harry supposed to deal with what Snape did, now? How is Snape supposed to deal with it? Obliviate? Ignoring silence? That was something big! How could he let that happen? Ooof.
That man is exhausted on too many levels, eh? *feels pity for him*
Oh. That was a sudden emotional breakdown. And breaktrough, for that matter.
Sometimes too much is just too much, eh? Poor Snape.
And than conversation made some turn... Uh-oh. It's not only Snarry but I sense bottom!Snape as well (Why do I feel like I signed some Devil's contract now? )
And Weasley's owl? They are lucky the idiot animal didn't crash trough the window hitting at least one of them! lol
Very sexy, though, how Snape handles it. Pig might be clumsy, but he's got taste.
Since I stopped handing out stars I seem to compensate by adding emoticons....
Lovely! I liked the slow evolving of their relationship, and how conflicted Harry was about Ginny. I also liked how you wrote all the majors as people of good will, who care about each other and want the best for each other.
Yay you.
K
Lovely story. Very sweet and very much in character.
This is a really fascinating take on the Snarry theme - great start!

Thanks!
Huh, generous Ginny. Somehow, I doubt that a woman would act that decently (or a man, by the way), with hurt feelings and all. But in this case, it fits, as otherwise, there would be no more contact with the Weasleys. Enjoyed it. And I am grateful for the fast updates!
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Sacrifice)
Well, that depends. I've seen people break rather amicably before, one beind the "noble" party. Hehe, for the purpose of this story, we'll pretend this is a normal thing. LOL
I love what you've done with Ginny in this chapter. Her reaction is so much more mature than we usually see. Well done! Harry's despair is quite palpable, and I love that Severus was aching for him too.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Sacrifice)
thanks! I wanted her to take the high road here. :)
Such a sad chapter, I feel for Ginny, but she is right. Harry is more involved with Severus than what was planned. I hope the three of them find their way.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Sacrifice)
thanks. :) It's such a difficult situation, but I think that her bowing out is the best way to do things... and the easiest for them all.
Damn it... I'm a bit teary. Another great chapter.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Sacrifice)
Thanks!
How noble of Ginny. The situation made me think of the old German saying "better an end with terror than terror without end"... And I very much like the fact that Snape seems to be accepting his chance at happiness.
Response from Southern_Witch_69 (Author of Sacrifice)
Yeah, he deserves it, Snape. :) I think Ginny's decision is the best one for them.

Ginny's reaction was to be expected, as is Harry's not-really-accepting it. I don't suppose he has truly realized yet what's really going on between Severus and himself, has he?
Author's Response: I think his feelings for Ginny still have things clouded for him, but... :)
