Things ARE starting to look up and it was very nice of Severus to help her. Of course, he had ulterior motives, but, it was still nice. Maybe a good fist fight with Ron will help Hermione to get over him. He's definitely not good enough for her.

I hope Severus has a good explaination for the DU bedroom. I still think that is scary. I am glad that it was Severus, and not a random person. Of course you wouldn't do that to Hermione, thank goodness!

Explanation wii be given, sort of. He inherited the house from his great aunt. He simply hadn't gotten around to changing anything. (Truth is there is a lot of his great grand parents 'in' the place and he never really got to know them - so he is still snooping through everything to learn who they were.)Nope, it is him. not some random OC.

Really well done chapter although the Firenze scene (while well written) didn't seem to really fit with the rest of the story. I'm happy that Hagrid has been allowed to sit for his OWL's. He deserves it. =)I eagerly await the next chapter and can't wait to find out more about Severus and Hermione. I also want to see another fight with Ron. :::evil smirks:::He should probably end up with Megan. I don't like Lavender....

Yep. Ever see those catalogues for linnens and room decor? I saw one simular but with magnolias. It was my inspiration. Yuk - overkill! So like I imagine Umbridge would do, although we are talking about Severus' great aunt. Thank you for the compliment. I'm having a blast pulling all these prompts together. I think that after all that about Tom's bragging in the CoS Hagrid deserved a break! Poor guy - he was innocent! JKR dropped the ball in loads of ways! I like going back and fixing her mistakes!

Severus did go find Hermione!!! Yea! Good for you!I liked the way you got them together at the end of the chapter. Severus was clearly happy to see her, and Hermione was moved to find him waiting for her near her home. The sound of his voice and just watching him still has an effect on her. This is good. Great chapter! I'm loving the way you're including the prompts...very interesting to see how things are comming together. I love the scene with Firenze, personally I don't see centuars as very open with their emotions, especially the way they've been treated by wizarding society in the past, so his seeming lack of emotion fits imo - plus it seems to me that you left him a bit open ended, maybe he will be more emotional with Hagrid in the future? Then again, maybe not...heheCan't wait to see where next chapter takes us! Thank you very much for sharing this story! :)

"shagged Severus Snape in Dolores Umbridge's bedroom": priceless. The place where you stopped your chapter feels a bit awkward, just in the middle of a conversation. Well, to me, it feels awkward. It's like watching the opening credits of a movie and then there's a black screen and no movie.

As long as it isn't Hermione Ron ends up with, I'd be happy either way. Severus knew but Hermione didn't. And that really shocked him, although with what she was going through it shouldn't. Good chapter, I'm looking forward to the next one.

Yes, I can imagine Hermione running screaming from a house that looks like it belongs to Umbridge! I am so glad she has finally seen the light with Ron, but I can't wait to see how she will react when she finds out she has been shagging Snape.

Thanks. Ever see those magazines that sell linnens, I have one and used it as a 'model' and added cats. I thought it was the most garish room I'd ever seen. And it's now Severus' room. Yes, the potion's effects are beginning to take their toll.

Thank you for the update, I must say that I like your story and your plot is really great! I read through your AN's at the end, and I am nodding hard at your question for prompt no. 1, Hermione and Ron being engaged is more than enough to follow the prompt, I beg you not to let them marry, I absolutely hate the Ron/Hermione pairing, I get angry boils in unmentional places just from the thougth of reading a story with the two of them together..... If you have them marry, there must be a wedding which again implies a weddingnigth, I don't think I would be able to live through that:-)I am so happy that you let Remus and Tonks live, I was so upset when JKR killed them in her book (invision my rage over her killing Severus...) I hope someone will be able to help Tonks, Severus maybe?Update again soon.
