I liked the way that you set this Severus up in character - I cannot wait to read your upcoming chapters - if the first chapter is anything to go by - this should be very interesting.

Umm, I don't think that a man like unloved Severus who hadso little time with his woman would see her wake from a coma and just disapparate for a newspaper. That's too abnormal even for Severus. Oh and why was the 'baby' not mentioned earlier?

Sometimes people just do strange things. After a while wouldn't you get bored sitting in a hospital chair? I mentioned the baby so late because after the "battle" there were only two chapters following, which could not really be helped. Sorry you didn't like the ending.

I'm glad that Hermione is beginning to show signs of coming around. Severus is beside himself with worry. It's sad that she lost her baby... I will be interested in how Severus breaks the news of her pregnancy and miscarriage to her. It will be a sad thing for her to find out.This is a great tale and I'm always glad when I get an email telling me it's been updated!Beth

Lol ok third time I've had to answer this question -- the baby is actually just something I tossed in there for interests sake. There is no previous mention of it because in between the battle and this scene at St. Mungo's there is a gap of time that I didn't write into the story. Just assume that they only found out about her pregnancy when they took her to hospital, and that the miscarriage happened. Really it's not a major part of the story. I am sorry to confuse everyone.

Aww...that was an amazingly sweet chapter. I kind of like this new, more loving Snape. But what's this about losing a baby; was Hermione pregnant? I guess I'll find out in the next chapter or so. Great job; keep it up! Can't wait for the next update.~Jen

Ah... this is only the first mention of the baby. I think I am just gonna let it be that they found out when she was hurt and taken to St. Mungo's and just lost it after that. It's less complicated that way and I'm not going into great detail with it because the baby is not the important part of the story here.

Ummm this chapter is only the first mention of the baby. As in they only discovered that she was pregnant after she was stabbed and taken to St.Mungo's. I sorta skipped ahead in the timeline a little to hurry it along. Lol. Oh well.

Oh, wow, that must have been so painful (physically for Hermionie and mentally for Severus). It was a good chapter.

Oh dear, I hope she will be all right. However, the fact that Severus helped him and that he obviously cares for Hermione (I expect long nights at her bedside) will help Harry to see the other side of Snape, too.
