Looks like Severus is harboring feelings for Hermione. At least an attraction. Too bad he did too good a job at pushing her away.  Her new friend Anthony seems like he'd make a good boyfriend for her. That would definitely make Severus jealous. I see the next chapter is in queue. I can't wait until it's posted.

Hermione has no right to get that angry, but she is Hermione.

Interesting story - I look forward to reading more.My only query is this: when you say 'on the border, near the Scottish Highlands', what 'border' do you mean?  I was thinking you meant the border between England and Scotland, but the Highlands are a *very* long way from there! So were you thinking of a border between a Muggle area and a wizarding one?

Good set-up for this chapter. With her realizing something as simple as the silkiness of his hair - that Severus is more than what she has categorized him as. Dumbledore knows what he is doing does he not? LOL.

Hermione's and Severus' feelings for each other become stronger!  Yippie!!!I was so glad she was able to help him when he returned from his summons, but why was Lucius angry with Severus?  And what topic will Dumbledore discuss when he comes to Spinner's End tomorrow?Lots of questions, I have.  Can't wait for your next update.Beth

Nice, I think Hermione's compassion is what made the chapter.

Not bad, the interaction between Severus and Hermione is surprising.  I expected a bit more crankyness from Severus because Albus did force Hermione on him.  I expect her quiet and less intrusive attitude helps with that though.

Well, good that the parents approve as well as Harry.  Nervous teenagery Dumbledore is fun.  Thank goodness that she seems to be improving!

Oh, and things were just starting to go well.  I have faith though.  Doesn't hurt that there is a sequel, 'cause how bad can things go?  ;)
