I enjoyed it very much.  A bit of moving the plot along and developing character, it's all necessary to a story.  I hate the smoking, but then, I always have, always will.  It does fit Snape, though.

I won't flame you, I promise.  I was kind of thinking this is how it would go because, as you say, the story wants what the story wants.  Poor Ron.  Poor Snape.  He did the only thing he could and Hermione understands it.

OMG.  NOOO!  Poor Ron.  Poor Hermione.

ohhh dear.  What's gonna happen next!  And WHAT is going on with Snape?!  LOL.  I can't wait to read the next bit.

It's all fiction anyway, so I don't care about the age thing.  :)

Severus didn't realize she wasn't playing?  And now she's basically invited him to her bed.  Hermione is in way over her head.

I always forget how great this story is until the next chapter comes out, and then it all comes back to me.  I really like Martine, and am glad that Hermione was able to confront her and she was not offended or anything.

From the minute they started dancing, all the way through the end, was so tension filled.  I wish they both could relax and be themselves, but I guess that probably won't happen in their current venue.  I don't recall how long they are staying, but they are bound to reach a breaking point soon.  At least I hope so... they are killing me with all of the ambiguity of their feelings and actions.

I realize perfection takes time, but you must update soon.  Thanks for another great chapter!

I'm glad Severus' cousin is there. Hermione definitely needed someone on her side. Severus seems to be letting some of his newly developing feelings for Hermione show; and I think his father is starting to see it as well.

That kiss left me breathless and hungry for more. Will she ever relax and come to her senses? Will he ever pull that ram-rod out of his butt?

oh my god, THE TENSION!!!  :)  this chapter was hard to read!  I cannot wait to find out what happens next.  There will be a breaking point soon, will there not?

This is such a brilliantly thought out story, well characterized and plotted. I really hope you have plans to finish it!
