One of my favorite bits about this story is how you have the different types of knots as chapter titles, and how those knot types have a direct or indirect bearing on what occurs within the chapter itself.  Nice touch!

While it may seem harsh for Ginny to blow up at Hermione, I can understand...  despite everything, she's still very young and Ron was the sibling closest to her own age within the family.  The two of them were probably closest to each other than to any of the other brothers.  It will take a while for her to calm down enough to be able to think things through rationally, I think.

I wish no evil upon you or your offspring :) As sad as it is for Ron to perish, it does bring to light the duality of Snape's role, and sheds humanity on his character. I love this story, please never abandon it!

I like the tiny glimpses of potential in the relationship.  Hermione is tough and she may be the only person who could make a marriage with him work.  He likes that she's tough and learning to stand up to him.  I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Has this been abandoned?  It has been so long since the last chapter was up. I absolutely am in LOVE with this story and have been on tenterhooks hoping to see it continue.  It is brilliant and I desperately wish to see it finished!!

Poor Hermione.  This had me in tears.  So so sad.  I do hope Severus will make some sort of attempt to make her happy.  I'm sure he has it in him, he just hasn't figured it out yet.

Oh dear!  I know there are parents who do these kinds of things.  There really ARE parents who disown their own children and it floors me it could ever happen.  Nothing my children do would ever cause me to disown them.  I might cry and be sad and upset over mistakes.  I can't fathom how anyone could disown their child because of a disagreement about their chosen spouse!  GAAAAH!

This is one lovely, amazing, romantic chapter!  Well done, LadyTuesday.  I love every last word.  From the ministrations of Gigi and Seta as they helped the Young Miss to dress for dinner to Severus offering his arm to escort his fiancée from the garden, I was hanging on every word!  Just splendid.

Lady Snape is rapidly becoming one of my favorite OC's.
The way she befriended Hermione was so wonderful, and the gift of the pearl necklace (that had belonged to Severus' mother) was very touching.  She knows her uncle so well, and her asides to Hermione are the perfect way to instruct the Young Miss in the best ways to handle him.  LOL!

I was surprised by the way Severus snatched Hermione's owl from her hand.  I'm not certain that he bought her explanation, so I halfway expect Severus to ask her about it later.  

Your description of Severus and Hermione dancing together was another part of the story that resonated with me.   Dancing a waltz with a partner who leads well is so much fun.

When our "love birds" were in the garden is another wonderfully written scene.  I was hoping that they would kiss, but I didn't expect it to happen quite the way it did.  But no matter, the important thing is that the did kiss, and both of them seem to have enjoyed it immensely.

Now I wonder what will happen when Severus delivers Hermione to her room.   Oh, my.  Anything can happen, and I can't wait to find out what it is.

Who has Harry asked to marry him?  Ravenclaw... there's Luna Lovegood, Padma Patil, Penelope Clearwater, Cho Chang.  I have no idea.
