OMG That is the most perfect summation I've seen yet, and I have read some HGSS fics in my time.

I thoroughly enjoyed this chapter!  Your description of Severus' teaching Hermione how to walk and carry her chin was delightful.  One can only imagine the pressure she will feel when Severus presents her to his parents! 

OMG!  Severus is the dukes de Guise!  Hermione will be married to the Professor of Potions, and will carry the title Duchesse.  That's interesting!  And a lovely thought as well.

What about Harry?  Why has Pansy Parkinson petitioned for Harry?  Is there a weirder thing that could have happened?  Aside from Hermione marrying Snape, of course.

And Lavender is having to marry someone for whom she has no feelings.  All this is so sad.  Except for Hermione marrying Snape which is totally to my liking.

And next?  Why shopping with Severus!  This should be a lot of fun... for us readers anyway... and I hope it will turn out to be fun for Severus and Hermione, too.  I'm looking forward t your next chapter!

I really like your story, but I find the whole "severus's family" concept in this arc really implausible.  it's almost as if hermione is dating lucius.  and duke?  puh-leez.  but the whole walking lesson is well done; it reminds me of me teaching the "giving weight" concept in waltzing.  I wonder if hermione is going to have a hard time later in holding her head more normally?  after 4 years of marching band posture in high school I naturally hold my head higher, which sometimes looks pretty ridiculous  :)

I love the constant dance between Hermione and Severus as they each try to get or keep the upper hand!  Glad to know that Hermione can surprise him now and again--their marriage certainly won't ever be boring!  And next chapter, Shopping With Snape.  This should be a hoot, and I can hardly wait to read it.  I really do feel for Harry, though... petitioned by Pansy Parkinson, of all people!  I hope that he can either find an alternative, or that a dreadful accident befalls Pansy in the nick of time.

The story is great though and I am enjoying reading it, looking forward to a little more Severus involvement:D and I love the knot puns, theyre really clever

I hate to point things like this out but the idea of snape not having his cigarettes after hermione taking them in his MEMORY makes no sense, they havent actually gone back in time, its all just a memory, they shouldnt be able to touch anything let alone steal cigarettes.

Poor Elliot!! And Constance, indeed!! Somehow he spoke for me, although I wouldn't have come with "if you marry this man, you never come back here again." Appart from that, I'd have probably reacted very much the same way.

I'm curious about something though, when you refered the "Portuguese Man of War" you were refering the jellyfish, right? loool You may think it's a bit stupid but I've never heard the term and I was curious, so I google it xD That's just because I'm portuguese and I got really intrigued about the name.

The weekend was so enjoyable I rushed through the chapters just to be able to see what banter awaits them next. It was fabulous. But now, back in school, Hogwarts seems positively bleak. I would like to see time fast-forward two weeks so that we won't have to hear all about Harry, Ginny and Luna. 

*sigh* Yes, I'd like more UST between Hermione and Severus more than anything else.

Perfect choice of words from Hermione there. She is rude in a proper English manner. I must say I have hated it with every cell of my being when it had been directed at me, but it is most amusing to read about.

For a long, drawn-out moment, I thought that it was Severus watching them and I would have my wish come true and see his reaction. Alas, Ginny was perfect with her voice of reason, or the lack thereof. In a way, she is right. In a way, she is not. It all depends on what Harry thinks and how he interprets the situation. His easy manner when the kiss ended tells me that he knows that he is a reprieve.

Severus is acting like a perfect Death Eater in this chapter. Truth be told though, Elliot deserved every bit of vengeance for his lack of common sense, but Severus's contempt still smarts. He at least defended Hermione finely and the kiss was a surprise.

There are sentences here that I simply love. Hermione's 'much better' sets Severus in a place he must have not anticipated, and Harry's quiet return from his sulk would hopefully turn to more in later chapters. He was interesting while there were sparks between them and I would like to see what Severus would do if he ever saw their tender interaction.

What an awesome chapter. I love that Snape practically killed his father because the bastard dared to insult his fiance. Lets us all know that he does really care in his own warped way.

Well that didn't help! I'm more confused than ever.  I mean Hermione is.  Well, whatever.  I know this isn't going to be some happily ever after sappy romance with flowers and fireworks, but I really wish they would get their acts together and figure out what they are feeling, and then act on it.  They are going to have to get married, after all.  Might as well make a go of it, right?  I'm loving this story so much.  You write them so well, and your original characters are great.  And even though I am anxious to move forward from the ambiguity, to a real relationship, I like how you have things developing slowly in a two steps forward, one step back sort of way.  I think it will make the payoff in the end, all the more wonderful.  I do have to wonder what he saw when they were standing outside of her door the night of the first kiss.  Really looking forward to more!
