Wonderful update.  Will we be seeing Severus or Hermione admit to having feelings for each other anytime soon?

They are all quite besotted with her, aren't they? Harry, Ron, Severus with a hint here or there. But does she perhaps have feelings for one of them? Or is she merely turning to Harry because she feels content with him? Or considers him the least of all evils?

How can one praise a violent scene? Saying that it was enjoyable in its intensity is deplorable to the bone. Saying that I liked it makes me look like Bella's evil sister. Saying that I hated it would be patently untrue. It was necessary for the story, and as such I recognise it. 

Severus will have a reason to say 'Told you so' once more. On one hand, they are all treating Hermione as a harmless damsel in distress, but on the other, the children are exactly that. Lack of experience and excess of boasting makes them ideal targets. Very canon point of view.

All throughout this story I have thought that it would follow canon ships - Harry and Ginny with Ron having a crush on Hermione. I'm glad it isn't so. Lack of romantic attention from the Weasleys is such a fresh perspective after heaps of stories that had to ward off Ron first. Warding off Harry will be (already is and has been) refreshing.

There happens to be a wonderful combination of facts surrounding this story that all amount to my enjoyment of it.

1) I love Marriage Law, over and over again.
2) I love your writing.
3) And you update!

So all in all, I'm very much looking forward to the next few days when Tying Knots would keep me company.

Squeeee!!!!  I'm so excited because the next chapter is going to be NEW!  I think Martine will be a great guest at the wedding; not sure if the Marquis will show up.  I've always liked Luna, so am happy to see her in this role.  Thanks for posting!

Oh I so hope you finish this! It's a wonderful story! I've added it to my favorites.

Arrrggghhhh!  I was hoping that Severus would kiss Hermione again, slowly and sweetly, as they stood outside her bedroom door.  Not on the agenda apparently.  I do wish he could bring himself to admit to himself that he is very much drawn to his fiancée.  And I wish Hermione had realized Severus was looking at her and not the pearls.  *sigh*

When Severus was in the music room with Tobias and Martine, I thought surely he was going to do permanent damage to his father.  However, his cousin proved herself to be a dab hand with a wand, and "knocked" some sense into both of their heads... literally.  Perhaps the Marquis will temper his remarks in the future.

I don't think Hermione left any doubt about how she felt about the senior Snape when she pointedly invited Martine to the wedding and did not include Tobias.  Well done Hermione!  But the thing that made me laugh out loud was her pointed comments to him as they left:  “Marquis Snape, it was … an experience,” she said after a marked pause. “Your home is lovely.” After a moment, she added, “I hope we get it when you die,” sotto voce.

Wonderful, wonderful chapter!  I was so happy to see that you had updated.  Thank you.

At least they allied together against the Marquis! :)

I do like Harry with Luna.  And yes, I'm sure Snape knew who it was right away.  But he doesn't like being attracted to his fiancee.

LadyTuesday, This is a great story! I love how Severus is finding himself softening to Hermoine, and how she is finding the same. Please tell me you have not hit a block, and that a new chapter will follow soon.

OMG!  The Grangers think that Harry is coming with Hermione, but nothing could be further from the truth. 

I felt sorry for Harry who is so forlorn at losing his best friend and the witch he wanted to marry, but I felt sorry for Severus, too, because he witnessed Harry's "goodbye" to Hermione only moments before he and his bride-to-be were to go to her parents to break the news that their daughter was about to marry her professor.

What will her parents' reaction to Hermione's news?  What will they think of Professor Snape?  What will Severus think of her parents and their reaction to him?  All I could think about was that Severus "could be predicted about as easily as he could be restrained."

What a lot to have on her plate!  But our Hermione will be up to the evening... she has to be.

I guess she's finally fed up pretending and now she's ready for "the real thing", which she found disgusting not so long ago.

What will happen next? Will they keep pretending, or will they fall in frantic love making? I wonder...

I feel sorry for Snape. I assume it was he who witnessed that last scene. :)

Marrying Severus - and he saw the scene with Harry. This is definitely going to smolder. Cannot wait to see where you take this.

Poor Ron - what is going to happen and I do think Severus has feelings for Hermione by the way he carried her home and shifted her hair. Good work.

This chapter was filled with great action. It leaves you wondering if Tonks will be okay, where did they take Ron and what will Hermione do next. Good work.
