I can't wait to read more

You don't have to apologize about being gone as long as you are back to stay!  Sorry, I haven't reviewed up till now.  There are a lot of great things about this story but I think what I like the most is the slowness with which their relationship is developing.  It makes it much more believable.  Keep it coming...can't wait for the next installment!

Oh, ohmygod! Wha-happened! Hermione's evening was simply - dreadful. Ginny's flirting - disgusting considering she's Harry's girl. 
I loved Dumbledore follwoing her to her room as if escorting her and his comments. Maybe I can lend you my laptop next time your computer goes down? 

Oh!  I always think these chapters go by too quickly.  I can't wait to read more, esp. with Hermione at Snape's bedside!

When I run out of things to read, I hit the "Random Story" button. A couple of days ago it gifted me this story. I reviewed the post frequency and noticed that it had been a very long time since you had posted, and almost didn't read because I feared it had been abandoned. But I forged ahead anyway. I enjoyed it so much that on the off chance that you would contintue some day, I added it to my favorites list.

Imagine my delight when my email informed me that you had posted a new chapter!!

Dumbledore really does seem to know everything, at least where people's feelings and needs are concerned.

I'm glad to see this story is back.  I really enjoyed the last installments. I'm sorry about the ordeal with your computer. That must have been awful.

A wonderfully well-written chapter. The sudden adrenaline of Hermione's discovery of Severus in such a state was balanced perfectly with the introspection of the first section of the chapter.

It occurs to me that it might be a good idea for Poppy or the Headmistress to have a miniature portrait or picture they can carry in their pocket that the Headmaster could go to to notify them about such situations, perhaps with an alarm charm to notify them that he has stepped into it from his main one, especially given the fragility of Severus' health...

I think the thing I like best about this fic is that Hermione isn't perfect and that she didn't "heal up" from the traumas of the War and horcrux hunt very quickly or easily. Her depression is delineated accurately and sensitively. It is nicely realistic and a welcome change from the usual "depressed=suicidal" depictions that are present in so many otherwise well-written fanfics. As a survivor of depression I truly appreciate your attention to detail and accuracy.

I will most definitely continue to follow this story and I understand the need to write (and in some cases, read) in privacy. I have been unable to write anything for the past two years as I have been living in very close quarters with two long-time friends and as much as I love and trust them, I am dreadfully uncomfortable with writing anything when they are in the vicinity. I can only imagine that having a public space as your only access to a computer has been exponentially worse. Keep up the excellent work and trust in yourself and your muse.

Poor Snape.  With his dreadful physical condition and lack of family and friends I'm sure he feels he has nothing worth living for.  Or perhaps he sees his pain as more of his pennance even after the war?  Who knows but I wish it wasn't left to poor Hermione to convince him to keep on fighting.  It's a shame she's the only one left alive who give enough of a damn to fight for him. 

I'm guessing Hermione will recognize from now on that an overly surly Snape is one who is in great pain.  Perhaps she can anticipate future episodes like this one? 

Anyway, great chapter.  I can't wait to read more.

So, Ginny is cheating?  That is horrid.  And poor Hermione.  She really needs to find a way out of depression.

Sounds like Severus isn't quite out of the woods yet, judging by Dumbledore's advice to Hermione. Even if Severus isn't quite ready to hear "everything" just yet. But definitely quite a nasty scare for everyone who cares about the snarkiest professor of them all.

I very much like this story.  I like the way things are developing.  The way you closed this chapter was nothing short of torturous...

Thank you so much for giving us another update so quickly!  I truly in despair after reading the last chapter because I was sure there would be months before the next update.  I'm SO happy you proved me wrong!!

And YEAH to Severus being willing to discuss Hermione's ideas.  I really hope he'll cave in and continue working with her.  In the meantime, I hope someone kicks Madam Pomphrey in the butt for her extremely poor judgment in causing this problem in the first place.

Kindness seems to be getting her somewhere.  That is good.

"I don’t know how to go about convincing him that I can be trusted to keep his private information safe" Well quite obviously she cannot be trusted. Within 24 hours of learning of SS impotentence she is telling Ginny everything! Didnt she agree to confidentiality with his medical records? Miss Granger I am not impressed.

I'm so glad that your back to updating this fascinating story! I was really concerned that it might remain an unfinished WIP. I love your writing. Your characters are very spot-on from my perspective. I can bet the ED/impotance issue would be horrible for Snape to deal with. I'm sure that between them, and Madam Pomfrey, a solution will be found. I, myself, will be glad to hear of the results!

Severus is only acting like he is because Madame Pompfrey completely humiliated him. I think that was a bit uncalled for on her part. But I have the feeling either Hermione or Albus will change Severus' mind.

How could Poppy have not realized how humiliating a converstation about his impotence would be? No wonder he dropper Hermione. I completely understand his mortification. Poor man.

I discovered your story yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's shocking to see Severus in such poor health. I feel for him being outed by Poppy in such a humiliating way. Some witches and wizards ~like anyone~ come off so arrogant. Poor Severus and Hermione, they know more of each other's sexual history than is comfortable for them.
