Wow!  What a story!  I found myself holding my breath through the entire last two chapters and letting it out in one relieved whoosh at the end of this one.  This is so sweet.  I love the emotion you have put in here.  Just lovely!

that is my response to the scene in the tavern.  WOW.  wow.  I really love this story; I started it some time ago, but I didn't keep up with it, so now that it's finished I am going through the whole thing at once.  I am reminded how much I appreciate you making Hermione so human in a not-usually-touched-on way.  It makes it really easy for me, personally, to identify with a Hermione affected with stress eating.  I think you did a wonderful job on the healing process, on the research process, and on the level of Hermione's obsession.  Thank you for this story!  I was wondering how on earth Hermione was going to make it known to Snape that she loved him, considering that she's trying so hard to be professional, but I guess neither of them can escape the knowledge now...

HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY HOORAY!!!!  And the crowd goes wild!  This story is so much fun.  So well crafted.  And all the little things make it special, like Lavender and the Special Underwear and the books about the Lady's Slipper and the Arithmancy journal articles and just everything.  It is gratuitous of me to want more chapters, a sequel, ANYTHING...but I suppose it's not really necessary.  Thank You for a fabulous story. 

This isn't the end of the story, is it?  I've been away for quite awhile, and jmped right back in to read feverishly.  If it is the end, it was a great ride, I loved every minute of it.  But if it's not, I hope to read more of it very soon!

eeeeee! that was the first thing that came out of my mouth at the end of this chapter. you've done an amazing job as usual, and i'm so glad to see the ending. well, unhappy that it's finished, but happy that i know what happens. 

Oh, I was so ecstatic to see this updated.  I read it at an obscenely late hour last night so had to let it simmer before I reviewed.  You know I can't be brief!  I absolutely loved this!  Did you hear me, LOVED IT!  It is funny because when I thought that the previous chapter was the end, I thought it was a good ending, but sort of an artistic choice to leave it where you did.  I was happy, but longing for one last conversation between them, man and woman, no pretense.  I am completely thrilled how it turned out. It was a testament to how floored she was that she couldn't come up with a good excuse for the flowers.  I think it was kind of special that the way that he declared himself to her, through the flowers, was widely unknown by the others present, students and teachers alike.  Kind of their own private thing.  I feel like there is a lot else to be said but am too giddy from this ending to articulate.  Thank you so much for sharing such an amazing journey!

Brava!  This has been such a marvelous journey of courage, growth, and self-discovery for both of them.  In this final chapter, you have given them a future with unlimited possibilities.  In one of the oldest rituals in human history, they spoke to each other with tentative comments and questions until it had become clear to them that they both wanted to continue their relationship.  I was thrilled when Severus stepped around the sofa to look deeply into Hermione's eyes "in the way a man does woman."

What a lovely, happy ending for everybody--opening the door for so many things to happen as they walk into the future together.  I too believe that Severus will be most appreciative of Hermione's Special Underwear, and I hope that she will acquire more articles of same to further impress him with!

Ending was a little abrupt. I would have liked to have seen a longer evolution of his feelings for her. They may have been there all the time but he was so cold to her before. I think someone as strong a character as Hermione would probably step back a little and been more than a little put off by him.

I'm so glad you gave us their first moments together. It was heart pounding, just as much of the rest of this story was.

Loved this story - I don't mind the lack of lemons at all and reckon it rather suits the tone of your story to go without.  Hermione and Snape's relationship throughout has always been rather tentative and tension-filled, so ending it with the first glimmerings of a future romance was very nice! 

I've really liked following your Hermione and Snape - they've both grown throughout - Hermione in getting over her insecurity and depression and Snape in getting over his insecurities and wounded pride.  Wonderful characterisation throughout - your Snape is of the very reserved, prickly, insecure variety - not quite 'fanon' snarky sexy Snape - and it was really nice to read your Snape, who is I think rather more close to canon. 
 

Finished? What, no LEMONS? (Pouting now) I wish terribly for an epilogue. Oblige me--and many others, I'm sure--please!
