Reviews for Being Hermione Granger
As detentions go, that was not too bad! :)
She is so into him! I have the feeling he's starting to thaw a bit toward her too.
Loved the inner turnoil she is haivng. You are making him so whot in this story and he's not done anything inapproperate! good chapter!
He brings up a wonderful point. Not everyone is good at everything.
I wish I knew what Severus was thinking. And what is the gift that the husband would give his bride after she had given him the unicorn blood?Hermione has become even more attuned to her body and her feelings -- and unless I'm mistaken, Severus has become more aware of Hermione. This was a beautifully written story, and I am eagerly awaiting your next update.Beth
Severus is helping Hermione!!! Yippee! He has "lead" her directly to the book she had been looking for but failed to find in the stacks. You describe Hermione's thoughts and feelings perfectly, allowing the reader to become a part of the story.Well Done!!!Beth
You write so descriptively of Hermione's emotions as she interacts with Severus. Her investment in his well being becomes palpable, and her traitorous heart beats a steady tattoo when she is with him.I can't wait to see the look on his face when she shows up alone on Saturday. Brilliant writing. This is such a good story!Beth
Nicely written chapter. I like the way Hermione was able to withstand Lavender's questions and attempts to set her up with a blind date. Hermione has matured since the beginning of the story. She is more self confident and more willing to examine her feelings, even when she is surprised by them.Good job!Beth
I had said in an earlier review that I was not sure that I wanted to know all of what Snape had endure. And your description was worse than I had imagined. On top of everything else, he suffers from impotence and self-injury due to nightmares. Formidable writing by any standard.Beth
Poor Severus! It is painfully obvious to Hermione how badly he has suffered, and I am sure she must feel a great responsibility to find a solution to his problems. You write so poignantly about this scene, describing his injuries and her emotions. Good writing. Well done!Beth
You have laid a good foundation for these characters. We see that, perhaps, there is something about Hermione that interests Snape -- whether it is academically centered or personally centered, there is much to explore there. Will we find out just what Severus has had to suffer at the hands of Volermort? I'm not even sure I want to know, but I'm certain that it wil play a big part in their relationship, whatever that turns out to be.Good story!Beth

Now that Hermione has realized what subject she is passionate about, she has made a good start on making her case to Professor Vector for an apprenticeship. And Ginny played her like a fiddle! Now she is convinced that there is something going on in Hermione's head regarding Professor Snape.Umm umm umm umm umm.......I am starting to really love this story!Beth
What on Earth did Professor McGonagall say to the Potions Master? And why is Hermione having such a hard time with her feelings about him. There's lots of emotiions afoot, and it can only get interestinger and interestinger!Great chapter AGAIN.Beth
Hermione is really doing some deep soul searching. She is depressed and suffering from the emotional aftermath of the war, she's lost friends and loved ones (Ron and her parents have no desire to return to Britain), and Snape will not write a letter of recommendation. That's quite a heavy load to bear. And I don't think all of Ginny's well meaning "encouragement" was much help. Great story!Beth
What a beginning! Can't wait to find out what happens next!Beth
Glad to see this fic isn't abandoned - keep up the great work!
And it begins. Hermione's made it through the first step. Let's hope their friendy collaboration continues from here. Great chapter! :D
Ginny's given Hermione some really great advice concerning the difference between healing Severus physically and making him whole again. She will need to keep that in mind if the potion does what she hopes. Fantastic Chapter!!! :D
The physical damage that Severus has sustained is just staggering. Seeing this destruction up close will, no doubt, haunt her. Great chapter! :D
I can't seem to decide what to think about Severus' behavior toward the project. Him volunteering to be a test subject is a huge checkmark in Hermione's plus column. It's really something that he went to all the trouble to check her welfare after visiting Poppy. Well done. :D
Yes! Hermione has plan!!! Great chapter. Loved the slip of the knife, especially. So, Hermione isn't the only one to appreciate Severus' attributes. Hmmm... :D
Great chapter! I would have giggled like a schoolgirl if Crooks had marked Ron's butt with a few stripes, oh well maybe next time. I could picture Minerva giving Severus hell on Hermione's behalf like it was happening in front of me. Well done. :D
*shakes head* She promised NOT to tell ANYONE nad balbbed it all to Ginny. Then went on a research mission to find Sverus a cure - what can the man be thinking of her now?
I love the way you protray her feelings when he's around her. Makes my heart still thinking about his charisma.
omgosh! No wonder Hermione is depressed - bizarre parent reactions, Ron being a prat, and nothing to give her direction! I'd be overwhelmed, too! Great chapter! :D
Great beginning. I feel so bad for Hermione. :D
