Reviews for Being Hermione Granger
OH MY GOD! I actually shouted "OH NO" when Ginny blurted out what she blurted. I knew it was coming and I was thinking, "NO NO NO, don't do it!" Then she did it and I shouted. I don't think I've ever done that while reading a story before. Poor Hermione. Ginny is in for a rough ride...well I sure hope she is. Now I have to wait for an UPDATE. AGGG.
Idiot Ginny is applicant for the price for ruining many people's lives in the shortes time. Including her own, if that's any satisfaction.
The fragile ego of Snape and Hermione will need months apart to heal from this desaster. The delicate friendship about to grow between them trampled into the mud!
I truly hope that Hermione's truly courageous speech at the end will sink in as time goes. It will have to be Snape who makes the first step, and maybe he needs some normal friendships before he can. Oh, please make sure that he will see the honesty behind her actions soon!
Mme Pomfrey might be the only confidante left, and she, in fact, is one for both of them. I'm putting my hope in her.
No she didn't!
Poor Hermione. Glad she is standing up to Severus and won't let him sully her feelings for him. At least now he knows the truth. I wonder how long it will take him to figure out what he is missing out on, but then at this point I can also see them going on without each other. Not what I would want mind you but appropriate as he is so damaged.
Great update.
OOooohh... that was a bit intense! But lovely! And your portrayal of Harry and Ginny's relationship is perfect. Yay! I can't wait to read the next chapter :)
What a chapter. What will everyone think of her now? I do hope they won't judge her. I find that now it's all up to Severus to decide whether he want's, maybe a talk with Albus or Pomfrey might make him realise what he is about to lose. Please don't leave the wait to long.
That's so sad. Things will never be the same, and Ginny's temper has just ruined Hermione's reputation with everyone she respected. How would the headmistress view her now? Vector? And worst of all, Snape. This isn't the kind of thing that can be forgotten, and it leaves an ugly stain on interactions with others. What should have been a celebration of her accomplishment has been twisted into a selfish impure act. (I had a similar loose-lipped friend do pretty much the exact same thing, and the formerly good friend became a distant person who couldn't be in the same room as me anymore.) I really feel for Hermione at this point. The only saving grace I think that will come would be from Pomfrey. You seem to hint that Pomfrey has an inkling of her feelings for Snape.
I don't like when the chapter ends. More soon ??
What a powerful and emotional chapter. I feel so sorry for Hermione, and Snape, and Ginny too!
Oh... Ouch! I hope her heartfelt confession permeates his armour, at least a little bit!
If I were Hermione, I would hate Ginny at this point. To make a declaration like that, involving someone else entirely was abominable. What a selfish little bitch.
WOW! I don't know what else to say. Amazing chapter! Things are a little ugly at the moment but I know whatever you choose to do with them will be perfect.
You've done it again, incredible. I nearly cried, honestly, other fanfics don't do this to me!
Great chapter. Finally, some action! Ginny was so out of line with Harry, but it served a purpose. She wasn't thinking straight and outed Hermione's love for Snape. How can he feel anything but betrayal? He's an intensely private man who was pushed into the limelight regarding his love of Lily Evans. Hermione dished too much to loose-lipped Ginny.
He's quite in character, though. What should he do upon discovering her unrequited love? Fall to his knees and declare his undying love to her? NO! He has too many emotional issues to plow through before he can be a whole man, the man Hermione deserves. It will take further time to heal his psyche, right? Hermione may be an adult technically, but she needs time to mature as well. Maybe some time apart is exactly what they need. Yep. I trust you. Evil cliffie, but I trust you.
I felt from the beginning that confiding in Ginny was a mistake. I'm not sure how I knew, because she has been above reproach in the books, but she has also never been given the responsibility of such a huge secret.
My heart aches for both Hermione and Snape. I can understand his rage and his feelings of betrayal. If it weren't for the fact that she had to delve into all of his sexually oriented medical problems, it might not have been so bad, but...
So much angst. Will she have to go away to school and come back what, a year or two from now, before he will speak to her again? If ever? Somehow I just know he will come around, but it will just take a rediculously long time. Perhaps Albus will help. If his portrait gets burned or ripped to shreds, he can always run back to the frame in the Headmistress's office ;)
Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
I hate you!!!... well actually I love you!!!...
but what a cliffhanger!!!!!!!...i'm dying here!
excellent fic and espectacular chapter... please don't be long :)
Whoa, Thats telling him. You go girl! I really like your Hermione!
How could Ginny do that just to prove a point with Harry? Talk about letting your mouth run away with you! I suspect invoking the life debt was the last thing Hermione should have done. She's in a right mess now. Great chapter:)
Poor Hermione! Never confide in someone with a temper!
I want to smack Severus. Really hard.
I love your fic.
I do hope they can get this train back on the tracks. I know Madam Promfrey was doing what she thought best, but her way of broaching the topic left a lot to be desired.
Somehow Hermione has to break through his embarrassment, but I'll be darned if I know how she can do this. I completely understand Severus' unwillingness to continue with this project, but I hope Hermione won't give up.
Great chapter!
Beth
I hope that Hermione will be receiving a very rare, hard to procure, expensive flowering plant in her future! :D
So will she get a flower from Snape anytime soon?
oooo... intruiging! What plant is it? And will Snape give her one?
lmao! oops... Freudian slip there... *whistles innocently*
The chat with Poppy was enlightening. Poppy suspects but approves by the sound of it! :)
I love this story, so much detail and hope and angst. The talk between Poppy and Hermione was so revealing. Of course if Severus knew what they were saying he'd probably never speak to them again.
