I love to write. A dreamer, a creator and filled with wonder, imagination and life. Sometimes I get lost in the other worlds I've read and in some I create. It's all good, I’m in good company.

Wonderful chapter, I really liked how Severus basically said he was on his own side. I think it makes sense. Peer pressure, while not an excuse certainly is an influence and continues throughout our lives. We imitate friends and people we want to be like in school, and as adults we try 'to keep up with the Johnses'. No matter how you twist it, humans are social creatures and you did an admirable job showing that.

Thanks. After all he's been through, having to walk the line - balanced on the edge of a wand - I thought, he's been playing both sides so long he would end up really being for himself. Granted he wanted the end of the tyrant meglmaniac, (the Drak Lord) but he's still always looking out for himself and covering his arse.
Lol... I love that last jibe about expecting favoritism. Just the sort of snarky remark Severus would make.

Thank you. I really tried to keep in character.
Hermione is doing a fantastic job as Severus's nurse maid - the owl catching the rabbit - very detailed with the cutting up instructions. Good work

Thank you. I've got Hermione simply trying to do her best for Severus - and we all know that if she tires to do her best it usually comes out all right. Even cleaning a rabbit. Thank you for the nice reveiw. I appreciate it.
Liked this chapter. Severus in his stubborness would have died without Hermione's help. He just cannot seem to let anyone in even if it is a little bit. The boys must be terrified that she has been captured by a rogue deatheater - cannot wait for the next chapter.

I think it would be hard for him to accept Hermine 'The Insufferable-Know-It-All' Granger's help, even though his life depended on it. However, he's coming around and realizing he needs her.
Yes, there are quite a few people who probably think she's been abducted. Harry and Ron aren't the only ones who'd be concerned - search party anyone?
Very nice, Severus must be feeling a little bit greatful! EEEEkkkkk lolGreat job with Hermiones desire to continue learning, very natural.

Thank you. I tired to keep them as close to canon as I could.
Exciting!

Thank you very much.
i love that the chapters of this story are so long. the only bad thing is, by the time i finish, i can't remember the things i wanted to comment on! let's see. i wish i could get some of that shampoo and conditioner for my hair! sounds like maybe it would help tame the mess. i liked that he apologized, but prickly enough so it was still snape-like. i liked when he said he didn't want her there, but he was glad she stayed. so they are falling into a nice rhythm now. very enjoyable. as for skinning the rabbit - better her than me! we did used to raise and eat rabbits, but luckily my brothers and dad did the skinning. oh, and maybe best of all, is snape asking hermione to read to him. letting himself be taken care of like that.

I hope that they arent too long for you to at least enjoy the story. I figured that since Snape could literally brew fame and glory he could certainly brew shampoo and conditioner. Hehehe Although he doesnt want her there, Snape does realize that he needs her. And since Snape likes order and likes being in control, he would naturally set a rhythm to his day (and being Slytherin take advantage of having her help in all areas he needs her.) and the story Snape asked Hermione to read has special memories for him. *sigh* Im glad the rabbit wasnt too squicky, but Hermione did ask Arimus to hunt for her supper. *shrugs* Im very happy that you seemed to enjoy this chapter, the next will be submitted really soon.

if it's a story i like, there's no such thing as a chapter that's too long. i relish every word.

That's really sweet, thank you.
Hermione thankfully stood up to Snape regarding the bedrooms and the amount of work she was putting in. I am glad that Snape made the effort to thank her and acknowledge the hard work she has put in.

Hermione no longer needs to worry about loosing house points. She can stand up to him, it just means she has to fight her fear of his snarly attitude and demanor. But she's a strong witch!
a very interesting start to this story. (i don't like to think too hard about the state of that room after five days, though, with neither of them being able to leave! thank heavens they have magic for purposes of cleaning things up a bit!)

Thank you. Credit goes to Shadow_ks for the prompt, although I did make a few tiwsts to her idea. (Hermione does have her wand and beaded purse.)
Excellent chapter. I LOVE the banter between teh two. Also, wonderful writing with making Hermione's shampoo and conditioner. I about fell apart laughing about skinning the rabbit. My husband is from Italy and when he was little he skinned rabbits. When he told me the process you described I remembered my own reaction to my husband. I just stared with my mouth open in horror willing myself not to retch. But, Hermione is a more formidable woman than I :)

Thank you. Since Snape cannot take house points from her anymore, Hermione isnt afraid to speak up to him. It makes for some fun writing that way. Im glad you like it. Expect much more banter like the brewing of the shampoo as they go along
Since Hermione challenged Snapes owl about hunting to provide for them, (I dont think Snape would eat rats and ground squirrels), I thought having him give them a rabbit would be fun
especially Snapes reaction like he gets the heart for his kill. Still, it was a fun gift and Yes, Hermione handled herself well. Thank you again for the lovely review.
What a great story premise! I love that Hermione was able to feel her way through the magical barriers that Snape set up.

I was excited when I saw you had another new story up. I really like self wrting parchment and many of your other works. You are prolific. I don't know how you do it. I like how this is beginning. I anticipate a good story unraveling. I have favorited and look forward to the next chapter.Cheers, Kat

That dinner conversation is one of my favorites. I read this fic last year on Ashwinder and loved it. In fact, I've been looking for it for the last two months-- so I could make up for not reviewing back then. I loved his actions so much, but I couldn't remember the title or who wrote it. So today while I was checking for the update to Plight Trothed Bride, I did another search hoping to find it. When your name came up on the list, I mentally kicked myself--how could I have missed it was yours? So thank you for another lovely story-- and next time I'll think to check my favorite authors list to see if one of you wrote a story that captured me when I was a new reader of fanfiction.
