Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

" Mischief Managed " very well indeed, I love this story so much. I read it before, but didn't review, I'm sorry. Thank you for giving me so much pleasure.

OMG!!! This has to be one of the funniest stories I've ever read!! Also along with it being absolutely hilarious, it was also *very* original. I seriously never read anything like this before and I'm completely amazed that you came up with such a crazy idea :-)Thank you for the laughs!!!

This is so terrific. I laughed, I cried; and then I did both again when I read parts to my son. Thank you

Thank you. I hope you both liked it.
I really loved this story. I have long looked for a Severus reincarnation story. Now it makes me wonder who Molly 'got'.

Oh, what a crazy and amusing story. I think my favorite bit was when Hermione threatened to call him "Remus Sirius". But of course, now I'm dying to know which of Molly's kids are reincarnated, and who they were before. And I want to see the scene where Hermione does tell Hugo/Snape about himself.
Author's Response: Thanks, but this was definitely a one off. My reaction to DH as it left us so I could put if firmly behind me and move on.
I devoutly believe in reincarnation and that, sometimes at least, the soul chooses the family. And I love this story. I love the idea that she can communicate with the soul that will inhabit her baby. I wish I could have done. I invited three of my four grandparents and one old freind to come be my baby, but of course, I will never know if one of them took me up on it. The story is a little sad, but ultimately hopeful and absolutely lovely. Is there a perfect rating here? You get it!

Thank you. So do I - and I certainly believe that the same souls keep bumping into each other all the time - whether as friends, lovers, parents etc. The only constant is love, and that's all that matters in the end.

Brilliant! I'm reading for the SSHG Awards, and this was absolutely fantastic. What great original, friendship-oriented fic -- such an ingenius idea. Terrifying thought, carrying Severus Snape's soul around in you for nine months, but this was an exceedingly well done fic, and the end there -- perfect. Well done!

What a delightful story!
awesome reincarnating severusliked how you portrayed hermione as a caring mother, if only people would follow your story sample (taking care of their bodies, talking and playing music, other things) the world would be better lol molly's babysitting service! tisk tisk naughty Ron loved it thanks

I totally loved the mother/Hermione and Severus conversations. Oh, if it were possible! Too bad he wasn't put in Gryffindor - he'd have put the house on it's ears!!

LOL! thank you
Oh - this was surprising, a touch sad and very funny. I feel like asking for the sequel but maybe this is perfect, just as it is. Although I'm sort of curious about his time in the Mollywobbles Nursery *LOL*
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
thanksOthers have asked for a sequel but that's where I'm leaving it. Hugo has a distinct personality from Severus even though they share the same soul. There's no where for it to go really.
What a terrific story! Of course, it doesn't have the usual SSHG romantic relationship, but I just loved that Hermione gets to take care of Severus and nurture him (which is what most of us SSHG-ers want to do anyway). Congrats on your SSHG Awards nomination!

That was FANTASTIC! I have held to the belief of reincarnation for a very long time, and I also feel that we come back to the same group of people time after time, but in different relationships to learn different lessons. This is a beautiful example of what may happen.Great job all around!!
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
Thank you.Yes, I also feel the same souls keep bumping into each other time after time, and that ultimately, love is the only thing that matters.Cheers :)
Brilliant! This has my vote. Good luck in the awards.

It is not to often that I write a review to the author but I just had to let you know how touching and moving your story was.
As I began to read it I nearly stopped and moved on to the next selection. I don't care for fan fictions of Ron and Hemione but once I continued I found a truly wonderful story.
It is a very unique look at what could have happened after the final chapter of Harry Potter was written.
Thank you for this little treasure and I do hope that you win this catagory as your's was the very best.
