Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

Mischief * Managed, indeed!!! I would have never have been able to come up with such a story! Bitter~sweet. Clever girl! I'm actually kind of glad we don't have that happen. It's enough pressure as it is to be pregnant and to be a parent. Tell me, mlusin, do the mother's ever share who they have? Do they talk to each other about this?

Thanks - that's a good question and to be honest, i don't know. It's a rare occurence so probably not for fear of appearing mad. It's probably just as well that the door to past lives is firmly closed for most of us.
This is one of the best one-shots I have ever read. I love it so much. Sev as Hugo. woah. That's one brillant show of creativity. Will you write a multi-chaptered fic based off this?
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
ThanksNo, that;s where it ends.
That was very hilarious to read and I had a really good moment. Thank you very much.

Thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed it.
This is one of the most endearing post-DH stories I've come across. Just lovely!

Thank you, my dear.
Aww that was sweet. Especially the last lines.
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
Glad you thought so. Thanks
My, that was sweet...
and funny! Helps a lot with coping with the Epilogue of DH.
I would really love to read a sequel.
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
Thanks - helped me deal with the canon epilogue too. But while there is the implication that Hermione married Ron, it does not state that anywhere - nor that she is the mother of Rose and Hugo. So, that will be my approach from now on, which is why a sequel will not be likely.
While I appreciate the intention, and the creativity, and the quality of the writing, there's just too much of "Rosemary's Baby" about this. It gives me the creeps. And it's very sad, too. In spite of your best efforts to keep it light.
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
There was never any intention to imply anything demonic about the process of reincarnation. In fact, as a believer in the transmigration of souls, to me, it's any everyday occurance. I'm sorry that the idea of love transmuting, but always surviving, gave you the creeps. I agree that there is a certain sadness, but there is also hope. Thank you for reviewing.
Ahhhhhh I loved it. I have to admit, I had my doubts reading the description, but the concept was really clever, original, and ridiculously funny. Much as I USUALLY dislike child-raising stories, I would be on board fora sequel if the plot bunnies bite. Thanks!

Thank you. I ususally avoid such stories like the plague myself, so i don't blame you there. Thanks for leaving a review.
Wow! I certainly like that. A totally different approach to the Snermione concept. Together in a way and yet apart in another. Thank you for sharing!

Bloody brilliant story, hope there is more to this story.
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
Thank you. Sorry to say, I haven't planned a sequel
Wow, this was SO clever!!!! And you pulled it off brilliantly!!!! I enjoyed this so much - it was just wonderful.

I swear I've read this story like ten times- can't believe I never reviewed before! An excellent Snape and Hermione- no OOC here! Very canon.I like it, because while I adore Snape, there's often too much Ron-bashing. And Hermione would be a lovely mother.... I know it wasn't relevant to the focus, but it would have been interesting to see more of Severus' thoughts on Rose, plus some Hermione/Rose interactions. Anyone else noticed yet that Rose/Hugo= Ron/Hermione as far as initials?
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
I've never disliked ron - just don't think he's right for Hermione, but this was as close to canon DH as i want to go
This is a beautifully told story of rebirth unto perfection.I love it!Beth

Thank you. Writing it certainly diluted a lot of the horror of book 7 for me.

glad you liked it, thanks.
Good Lord I *LOVED* this story! That is so incredibly clever. It makes me wonder who Molly had...
I can't even begin to describe how pleased I am with such a crafty plot. Great job!
Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)
Thanks very much - the twins were her dead brothers.
Glad you liked it.
Response from CharmedForce (Reviewer)
No wonder Molly was always screeching at the twins then... she had to grow up with them twice!
Genius, I loved the POV. Molly's comment was priceless. Thank you.
Wow, what a wonderful story! Such a unique idea. I think you captured their characters perfectly. I saw that you mentioned that you were originally going to include a conversation between Molly and Hermione but didn't want to get away from the Severus/Hermione dialogue. I think that was a wise idea but it would make for a wonderful companion piece to this. (Hint, hint) Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

Thanks - if the bunny should bite, I'll go with it, but I'm not promising anything.
That was beautiful!!! I loved it. Wonderfully written.

Wonderful, heart-warming fic! Our Severus can't really have died in Deathly Hallows, so thank you for coming up with such a wonderful solution to the problem!

Diolch yn fawr.
That story was AWESOME!! It was incredibly funny. I'm so glad you included Severus's typical dry snarky sense of humor. Oh I just loved it!Anetra

Thank you. All I had to work with was his voice, so I'm glad you thought it was convincing.
