Alan Rickman obsessed ex-civil servant now living the good life in France. I only write in the good ship SS/HG. However, if you think that the only way these two can get together is by some sort of forced marriage, 'binding' or whatever, don't read my stories. You will be disappointed.

I was surprised at how touching this was, particularly towards the end. You paint a wonderful picture of the growing closeness between Severus and Hermione, and the ending is going to leave me and many other people demanding a sequel!

Author's Response:

Thank you, glad you liked it.  I can't really do a sequel because Hugo isn't Severus, and I'm not really sure what I'd do with the character.

Thanks again!

Not your typical ss/hg story, but I loved just the same. Very funny and sweet!

Re-read this again after a long time and still cried.  Always good to have a happy ending for Severus -- he didn't get one from JKR at all.  Thanks for your work!

Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)

It was my initial reaction to DH and my way of sticking 2 fingers up to jkrthanks for reading it again.

I think I will include this in my fangirl tour stop. I just came over for a reread. It is so damn moving! Wonderful work Meli!

Response from melusin (Author of Cuckoo in the Nest: The Baby Dialogues)

Thank you, my dear.  It's an odd piece really as it doesn't fit neatly into any one genre - although I was pleased with it.  Any reccing would of course be appreciated. ~hugs~

I faved this a while ago, but never reviewed - sorry!

I adore this story, and I think it's a lovely way to deal with the horror of the epilogue of doom.

Thank you!Yay

I'm glad you like it - it was the only way I could deal with canon head on before twisting and writing around it.

Thanks for leaving a review.

Oh man, this was great! I loved the conversations - but even more, loved Molly speculating which soul had joined Hermione. This is a great read!
