Reviews for Geneamorology
This is so much fun! I'm loving the humor, the attitude, all of it. I was very happy to see that you had updated; it was a good thing for my vacation read! :)
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Thank you. I don't know however when I'll be able to submit the next chapter.
Response from Nilliem (Reviewer)
Anticipation makes the heart grow fonder? hmm? hehe Here's to the next installment!
I love this story. keep it comming!
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Thank you. I'll post the next chapter when my beta, who is on holiday, will send it back to me.
I really liked that bit with Hermione's parents. Slightly humorous and very vivid. Great job with this chapter.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Thanks so much.
Thank You!
The scene with parrents and the date of wedding is really good
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Thank you for letting me know your opinion.
That must have been a bitter pill for Hermione to swallow! Defending an unwanted fiance to her parents.
I'm eagerly anticipating Snape running more rings around Hermione... and also hoping that there will be a point where she manages to do the same to him.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Even Weasley's products must have tasted better.
Hermione will be able to run rings around Snape, but give her a few years to learn how. A very few years.
at least hermoine is researching it all now, so she's not completly clueless
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
She's learnt her lesson... hard. Thanks for reading.
Oh my. Somehow I don't see things going that easily for Snape. But I think everything will turn out fine in the end of course! Love the story. Thanks for sharing, JoAnne
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Everything won't be that easy for him. Everything will of course turn out right in the end, but I'm not sure my definition of right will match the definition of all my readers (I haven't planned a sad ending).
Ahh, Severus the Snarky is out in full force in this chapter! I loved his devious Slytherin ways. I still feel bad for Hermione, but I have the feeling that she'll come up with something. Nice chapter.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
I've tried to keep my Severus as snarky as possible. He's a true bastard in this story, but Hermione will be able to find a way around this most didagreeable trait.
This continues to be wonderful -- humor laced with a nice dose of acidity. I especially like the idea of Hermione trying to drive Severus to violence once they're married so she can get a quickie divorce -- would she have to try all that hard?
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
She would have to try very hard because Severus really doesn't want to lose his job (that he enjoys way too much, which he'd never acknowledged). Alas for Hermione, Severus has a lot more practice at this kind of game.
Great chapter, Severus sure seems smug. Hermione has a rough road ahead of her, and I kind of feel bad for the twins since they got embarrassed over Ron's behavior.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Severus is smug, but he doesn't live with Hermione yet ;)
You're right about Hermione having a rough road ahead of her, but she'll overcome the obstacles.
the way you described his face! poor hermoine, but i'm sure she'll find a way to live with him :) still loving the story
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
I'm sure she will as well. Once she gets the hang of him--in a few years--she'll lead him by the tip of his nose.
Oh my... Hermione has REALLY weak head...
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
But she's having a hard time. Thanks for reading.
Response from Bawetta (Reviewer)
Doesn't the Wizarding World have the law stating everithing signed under the influence of alcohol or any other drug is automatically invalid?
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
You'll learn more about it in chapter 6. That remark is spot on.
Response from Bawetta (Reviewer)
It would be very Slytherin if that kind of law didn't exist.
Oh my! A new plot twist! How enchanting! Tell me more!
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Thank you. I'll tell you more next week ;)
Interesting how coldly logical he's being. I love the 'I don't know' answer for if one loved one's parents!
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Being cold is what has saved him after the battle and at his trial. It's a way of being. About the "do you love your parents?" question, I wondered what would this Snape think, and neither yes nor no were obvious, so it had to be "I don't know". He made himself not care about them.Once more, thanks for reading.
Ah, well - the HG/RW incompatibility strikes again! To go from high hopes to dispair - I like that you've kept her kind of numb here at the end - it seems realistic.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
I too think that people can be numb-minded by grief. She'll experience depression a bit. Well, I used my own memories of the most despairing moments of my life, and I remember that I felt concerned by nothing at that time. I'm so glad that moments were short in time!
The Weasleys are so numerous that one always has to be specific.
Lots of great Snape snark!
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
I let myself loose a bit in this fic *smirk* Thanks for reading.
Yeah... marriage with Hermione is not very different form servicing Voldy-Moldy.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Perhaps, but then, Severus is experienced with women, not in wooing them. Thanks for reading.
Response from Bawetta (Reviewer)
He has one, huge advanage here - he knows they are 90% compatibile.
Thinking about it - there are three advantages:
1) He knows;
2) She knows;
3) They know.
When do You plan posting the next chapter?
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
The next chapter will be posted next week. After, I don't know.
LOL. The last few paragraphs are really funny. Research and equating a wife with the Dark Lord...Actually, probably pretty true.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
The parallel is easy to make, isn't it? Thanks for reading.
Oh, I guess I know who the witch is:-) I guess Severus, Hermione and the rest of the wizarding world are in for quite a shock:-))
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Indeed it will be a shock, but Severus is very good at getting over shock and at turning them to his advantage.
The next chapter or two seems like it will be a very enjoyable one to read.
thank you for this wonderful piece.
waiting for more.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
The next chapter will be enjoyable, or at least, I enjoyed myself too much writing it. Thanks for reading.
Another super chapter! I'm a consummate Hannibal Lecter fan, and Snape comes across as very Lecter-esque in this chapter...it's hard to get him like that but it's done very well here with him so snakey-suave. Can't wait for more!~HR
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
I really didn't picture him as Lecter-esque, but if it is how you see him, I won't complain at all ;)
Oh, this is getting so devious, it's great. I love the wicked humor overall, and the spectacle of Snape and the Weasley twins matching wits is just too funny.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Thank you very much. This is my own brand of humour, and I'm glad you appreciate it.
Hmm, I wonder who his 90% compatible match could be...
Oh my, equating courting a woman with serving Voldemort!
Seeing how Turnrobe!Snape goes a-courting should be interesting. Looking forward to more.
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
LOL I wonder who she is as well ;)Hey! A woman can be as difficult to please than Voldemort, don't you think?About the courting, Severus's idea of it is quite... unique, as you'll see next chapter.Thank you for reading.
Cliffie....we all know who it is, right??? Please chapter 5 PDQ! Thanks
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Of course we all know who it is ;) The meeting in chapter five, next week. Thanks for reading.
Oooh! Clever plot mainipulation! Very nice and unique!HOpe the next update is just as prompt!
Response from septentrion (Author of Geneamorology)
Don't worry, I will be able to update next week without delay. Thank you for your comment.
