Right. I would like to state, for the record, that I WILL finish "She Married Her Choice". I will. Assuming I am in control of my own destiny and accomplishments, that is. ;-)
Unfortunately, real life (mainly an attention craving three-year-old) and inspiration have been keeping me from creative endeavors for a while now. I do foresee a time when that shall pass, but until then, I ask for your patience.
Thank you!

Really liked this
Indeed
This was a very entertaining little story, I absolutely love the ending, your right severus can't be sentimental for to long!Keep up the great work!
"The End...Now go away." Hee hee hee! You've captured Severus's personality to absolute perfection...what a great way to end a HG/SS fanfic!
yay....love happy Snape stories!
aww, poor Snape. yet again, he is his own worst enemy
The end.
Now go away.
I'm in a house and it's 3am and everyone is sleeping. Here I am, face buried in a pillow, laughing my ass off. That was the best, the most absolutely Snape ending. Ever.
Awwwww I really liked the last line! thank you for the story.

Thank you!
How did I miss this story when it was posted? I was just complaining to SSHG316 that what I really truly wanted to read was a Severitus with HG/SS. She said "duh" and pointed me to you--and here I am!!
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
I don't know! There's another story on FFN... I can't remember the title at the moment, but it's written by Bellegeste. The first four parts are pure Severitus, but the fifth is focusing more on HG and SS, if you're interested.
Cheers!
I enjoyed your story...mostly. The only thing i didnt like was the extreme amount of references to Harry and Hermione being 'like' brother and sister, or sometimes just refering to them as brother and sister. It was just a bit awkward within the plot. But otherwise, i liked it.

Thanks. Yeah, I was a bit heavy handed in that regard. *shrugs* It was just for a bit of fun, though, so perhaps I didn't take the care I usually do. :-)
Nice. I will be looking for more of your work.

Thank you! I hope you enjoy what you find!
The end. Now go away.I liked your little bit o' fluff, but that last line is what did it for me! Very Snape-y. ^_^
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
Thanks! Sometimes I think I told the tale just for the last line. :-)
Very sweet. I've always wanted to see what Severitus and SS/HG would be like in the same fic but could never find any and am unfortunately not a writer. Thanks for sharing.

There've been a couple, but for the most part, they're angsty pieces. This one was actually inspired (beyond the prompt) by a not-quite Severitus story that I really wish I could remember the name of. It had Severus and Hermione taking a bath in the prefects bathroom, and Hermione washing Snape's hair, laughing, when it was clean and sticking up all over the place, that it looked just like Harry's. That was a beautiful piece of implication.
Thank you!
Oh heavens, but that was excellent, avery! "...a cheating son of a bitch who doesn't know how to keep his name separate from his avocation." LOL and I howled at Mrs. Granger's pithy ripping into Dodgy Roger: "Were you, dear Roger, forced to fuck?" And then the total creep is ball-less enough to just disapparate at that!
I did intend to just read the prologue and and save the rest of the story as a treat for the weekend. However, as I am reviewing here at the end of the story, it's obvious that that didn't happen. Well done, avery -- got sucked into another one of your wonderful stories and couldn't stop reading!

Thank you,

! Although, to be fair to poor Roger, would you have been willing to walk toward Dad Granger and Severus? They were blocking the exit. :D
Thanks again for the lovely review! You always know how to make me smile!
I love it. Squeeing is not enough to tell how much, so I'll refrain. (Don't think I'm demented, it's just that I have a soft spot for well written fluff)
It was sweet, it was funny, and the parting words were very IC for Severus *giggles*
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
Thank you so much! I always enjoy a well placed squee, just as I always appreciate your reviews! Cheers!
"Hermione started, looking over at Snape as if he were a boggart..." - Love it!

Thanks!
Simply delightful, darlin. Cheers!

Brilliant! I kept passing this over because of the summary but it kept getting recc'd and the reviews kept climbing. Never doubt the reviews. I love it. You had me from the first line.v. happily yours,~acerbicwit
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
Yeah, I suck at summaries. And this one was particularly difficult if I didn't want to regurgitate the prompt, which I didn't. ;-)
I'm glad you decided to read it, and even happier that you enjoyed it! Thank you for letting me know!
Very enjoyable. I particularly enjoyed the change in viewpoint. In the beginning it was a bit confusing, but it really grew on me. Oh, and 10 points to the house of your choise for Severus' ending sentence.
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it!
"If I wanted to be pathetically sentimental, I would say that my heart took advantage of my brain's slight confusion and undertook a coup d'état – but I'm not the soppy sort." Wow - what a fantastic sentence!
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
Oh, thank you for commenting on that line! I was rather pleased with it, so it's good to know that someone else appreciated it. =)
This is a great prompt and a great reply. I enjoy it very much.
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
Cheers!
I believe the story you tell about Severus and Lily up to his taking the mark between six and seventh year will be very close to what Rowling will reveal in a few months. Having said that - enter Ms Granger... this is a very promising start...
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
It may be... I don't know. I think that Snape and Lily definitely had something going on, anyway.
Thanks!
"now go away"That sounds sooo much like him...well.. how i would imagine him sounding..
Response from averygoodun (Author of All in the Family)
Hee! Thanks!
