I'm 22, happily unmarried and happily enrolled in the University of my somewhat limited choice... I read constantly and write whenever I have the chance to do so. I sing, I work, I sleep, and I enjoy bickering with my awesome family. That is all.

lol, exactly. And Sev and Hermione only have one. I'm one of 4 kids and my boyfriend is one of 8 boys! Can you imagine his poor mother trying to find time with her husband with 8 boys under the age of 12? Poor lady... I think I'll be getting in several quality, sex filled years with my husband before we add kids to the mix... *shakes head and chuckles*
I had a moment like that when I was around 5, and never forgot it. My mom and I saw a little machine that supposedly told you your future, and my mom is supposed to die when she is 74. It freaked me out so baddly, I still rember that episode like it was yesterday!

Yep. It's a terrifying this for a child, since children depend so greatly on the constant presence of their parents for everything. The thought of a parent dying and leaving you alone as a child is horrible. Thanks for reviewing!
I had that moment many years ago and told my mum and dad they can not die until i said so and thats that!
my mum still goes on about how she's going to die and stuff and still tell her not until i die first and i'm not planing on dying till i am very old (janurary 29th 2088, my 100th birthday to be exact)...lol
so yea i agree all kids have this moment about their parents and some nearly adults do to!

I had that moment. I can't remember it specifically, but I know it happened, and I remember my mother comforting me and holding me, much like Severus did. I think it's just one of those inevitable things, like children asking about sex...lol
I found myself unaccountably reminded of Billy Joel's song "Goodnight My Angel" as I read the latest installment, because that song describes almost exactly the same kind of scene as that which you've depicted here -- a father trying to comfort and reassure his daughter that he'll always love her even if he can't always be with her. By any chance, were you thinking of that song when you wrote this?

Hehe, I actually stole that line from myself at age two. My parents found it just as amusing, still do, in fact.More proof of my narcissism. lol

Lol, yes, this whole series(especially what's to come) could supply a small country with fluff. I can't seem to stress this enough... but I get the feeling that as long as I don't pretend it's anything but a fluff fest, nobody has anything bad to say about it. Oh lordie...That's really sweet about your hubby too! Makes me all warm and, oh! FLUFFY! :D
