Best line ever was Severus telling Minerva "I hate you too."  I can see the small smirk on his lips.

I'm sure I've read this before but random searches can recall gems. What a pleasure it was to revisit this story. 

She isn't as week and easily manipulated as Minerva thought, either. What an insult for her to tell Severus to leave her be. She's as bad as Molly.

Did Ron really think he could get away with slipping Veritaserum to Hermione without her figuring it out? Is he stupid or foolish?  He must know she could probably out hex him in a duel. I'm sure that Ron intended no malice, but knowing Hermione as he does, did he think that Hermione would not be furious that he took advantage of her or that he broke the law to get a confession out of her?  If he is this lame, he isn't smart enough to be an Auror.  I guess he figured she would always forgive him even if she was furious initially.

I have very much enjoyed this story.  I somehow missed the posting of the last chap.  Glad I found it.  I thought that it would be forever unfinished.  Silly me, should have known better.

Wonderful ending.  I found this story to be quite enjoyable with lots of action all the way through.

Ok I went from wanting to slap Minerva to feeling sorry for her.  Somehow I think the author planed this.....lolo
