Thanks for finally answering--or at least picking up--this question! I've also been wondering. Poor Rubeus never got his answer, did he? just a note: your summary and characters are confusing.

I am afraid you've almost completely lost me with this review. At first, I didn't know what question you meant.And while I can certainly see how the character list is confusing, as there was a stray "Hannah Abbott" (
) instead of the "Other Canon Witch/Wizard" I intended, I don't know why the summary is confusing. Can you explain?

Well, the question of how the heck the late Mr Hagrid got the attention of a giantess, and how he satified her needs. Since Friedwulfa left the family when Rubeus Hagrid was young, he never had the chance to hear her side of the tale (as you have his dad suggest). The people explicitly mentioned in the summary don't show up in the first chapter; we can only assume "a half-giant" is Hagrid.

Ahhh, yes. I did eventually work out which question you meant. As for the people mentioned in the summary, one of them does show up in the first chapter. But that hasn't been validated and made available to readers yet. This is only the prologue.
