Reviews for Framing Hermione
So sad to see Minerva going, she has ben a big part of there lives since they were eleven, her passing will be very hard on everyone.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Yes. It's so sad when old friends and mentors pass away, isn't it? I felt quite uncomfortable to do this to them , to be honest. Thank you for reading and reviewing.

Ouch. Poor Hermione. I really like how you portait Snape's kindness as being so harsh. He clearly does care abot her and wants to help.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Sometimes what seems harsh is the kind thing to say and do. And he does care in his own way. And he does want to help. Helping seems to be an integral part of him together with the harshness and cruelty. And that's what makes him such a fantastic character to me.

I've been through what Hermione is going through, and Severus is right without the children, insanity would have been the only way to go.
It has been said that a few of the Grand Masters, though brilliant as they are at chess, you wouldn't want to trust them to go to the shop on their own, so I think that chess must indeed have it's own special part of the brain. I never thought I'd say this ,but Ron may be right.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
I'm so sorry for your loss. That must have been so terrible to go through. And yes, I think Ron does have a point here. And I wouldn't trust him to go shopping on his own weither

Ouch. *That* certainly had to give her food for thought. Looking forward to reading more soon--hm88

Ouch. That last bit had to sting. I've always found it interesting that there are types of smarts and great chess players might not hav a lot of book smarts and vice versa
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
It must have done. And the different kind of smarts are very exciting to contemplate. Ron, Severus, Harry, Hermione all being such different persons intelligence wise. Thank you for reading and reviewing.

That's a LOVELY gift. I wonder if he'll find out how to come out of the portrait...
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Thank you. I'm glas you liked the idea. As for the portrait thing ... can't tell you since it would totally ruin the rest of the story.

A very thoughtful gift. I think Snape may just realise that not all people are cunning and manipulative. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
I'm glad you liked the gift. Thank you for reading and reviewing and the next two chapters are in queue. I hope you'll enjoy them and the rest of this tale.

The perfect gift to say thank you, leaving Severus Snape speechless is quite an achievement.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Yes. And I think both Hermione and him needed this. Hermione needing to say thank you and Severus needing to be thanked. Thank you for reviewing. It's nice to hear what you think when you read.

Poor Snape. Dumbfounded by someone showing gratitude and that they care about him. Very nice idea by Hermione.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Sad, isn't it, that he doesn't expect anyone to do anything for him. I think Hermione felt she really needed to do something special, all things considered. Thank you for reading and reviewing.

Yes. I thought Hermione did very well with that gift. Thank you for reading and reviewing.

<snerf> That was, that was the BEST gift every. Dean just needs to do a series of ALL awesome libraries. *sigh* So THIS is what heaven looks like.
Response from Phyllidia (Reviewer)
Ooh AND the Smithsonian (all buildings including storage ones) and the Louvre too. Just sayin'....may as well go all the way. Now I want to be a magical portrait.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Thank you so much for the lovely review ... and I totally agree with you as far as the libraries go. Portrait ... I don't think so (*whispers* we'll get to way later on in the story).

That's brilliant! Not even just a library, but the Bodleian! Although he seemed taken enough with just a thank you!
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Not used be thanked the poor thing. But I thought the occation demanded something special and a library seemed fitting ... I'm so glad you liked the idea.

Ahhh! Now that's my idea of a gift. Maybe if I hint long enough, someone will gift me with a library for Christmas? ^_^
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
I do so agree. I needed a really, really good gift and this was the only thing I managed to come up with that felt good and sincere enough. Thank you for reading and reviewing.

That's just heart breaking. I love that he managed to solver her biggest problems just like that, even while being an arse about it. he does share an awful lot in this chapter.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Yes it is. Difficult chapter to write especially since I like Ron a lot. But he does share. To my mind he needed to.

Poor Hermione! How on earth will she cope? And Severus acting as comforter?
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
I don't think Minerva and Albus quite thought this through ...

Uh oh! Things could be about to get very nasty! She won't really get the turps, will she?
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
He needs to be nicer. And honestly: He needs to get turped. He deserves to get terpt.

I like Ron here! but I'm a bit nervous about what Hermione will do about Snape.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
I always did think Ron would grow up well. I like him and I'm glad to hear you like him in my story.

Something tells me that Severus will be harder to reign in that Peeves - I don't think threats of the Bloody Baron will work with him somehow!
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Reigning in Severus would be an impossible task for anyone. Eapecially when he suddenly owes no one anything.

I can't see Severus being particularly welcoming to the interfering, self-satisfied little dolly. Is he, perchance, bearing a grudge?
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Big time grudge. Big time, and I mean that.

I was sorta hoping they wouldn't find the portrait - the proof that he did indeed die. Poor Hermione, being the one to find him.
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Yes. He did die. Poor bloke.

Poor portrait!Snape, he doesn't stand a chance!
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
Nope. Everyone wants to give him the credit that is due to him. Ergo, they will hunt him down. Poor Snape indeed.

That sounds like a very kind and friendly way to irritate the hell out of him! OI wonder where he will be hid?
Response from Pyttan (Author of Framing Hermione)
But it's so unwise to annoy him, even if he is a portrait ... Maybe she will stop this madness when she sobers up.
