He had been waiting all his life for her; he just hadn’t known it until she told him so.I love that line!It is sweet that they named their son Norton. The end is sad, and yet, they've lived a blessed life, especially when you consider where things were headed before that fateful day she climbed into his lap. A very nice ending to a great story.

This is a story that wrote itself (well, my Muse wrote it - I was just the gloves he used to tap the words out on the keyboard), and I had such a fun time, especially then the Child's Garden of Verses became such a fun backdrop to the story. To me, Severus has been waiting all this life for Hermione - in my headcanon, there has never been two people more suited for one another.

“I have only one thing to say to you, Severus. Well, two, actually: Disillusion and Notice-me-not charms." She set down her knife and fork. "Really, boy, what were you thinking?” Severus almost dropped his toast. “Well, neither of those things, obviously.” *grins*How excited was I to find that McGonagall was not only unfussed by these two, but actually supporting them? Completely unexpected, but wonderful. I love when these two have a good relationship, and I sort of adore playful McGonagall.I loved Hermione's response to his proposal. Perfect.

This feeling...which is why I'm reviewing chapter 6...to experience that is....mind-blowing and rare. But I can totally relate which I think is another reason this fic is so dear to me. It goes way beyond lust for another person, it's...I don't even know how to explain it, but gods....
