Thank god. Aren't there spells to keep it from hurting? I'm pretty sure an exposed nerve in a tooth is much more painful but she's surely never had a toothache. Was it a lot worse than her burned hand? Is this the reason she made him wait for years? Was she afraid it would hurt? Was she not sure he was the right one for her? Did it just take this long for her to become sexually aroused enough to have sex? Was she afraid he was going to rape her or laugh at her? He practically killed himself showing her how gentle he was for way too long for that. She made him wait so long I didn't even feel happy for them anymore. It wasn't sweet. It was about damn time. Hermione Jane Granger jerked Severus Snape around emotionally long enough! What a selfish little wench she's turned out to be.  I'm surprised she hadn't traumatised him so badly he didn't go running from the room when she invited him to have sex for fear she was going to change her mind at the last minute and leave him with the most horrible case of uncurable blue balls for all purpetuity, never able to have an orgasm for the rest of his life due to emotional distress and lack of trust issues.

Thank god you didn't make two chapters out of it. Is Miss Granger suffering from an unusually low level of hormones? Is she mental? Could a normal woman really sleep next to Severus Snape for 2 nights and not at least engage in some heavey petting their first night and love making by the second night? I was a virgin when I got married at 18 but I must have been possitively sluttish! I couldn't wait to get to the important part!  Since I was raised to think you couldn't have sex before marriage I would have waited longer to get married but I couldn't wait any longer to get laid! I must have been an absolute whore! She is nothing more than a complete dick teasing baby.  There is certainly much more to love than sex. I should know since I've been married for 32 years and havn't had any for over a decade. The little guy died a long time ago and the little boy in the grown up man's body won't do anything about it. So I get the idea of intimacy that isn't sexual, but this relationship they are having isn't natural.

Your smut was flawless and very erotic. Hermione is still a swot. So she's a virgin. Lucky Severus! I'm guessing Ron made fun of her or some such. Did he try to date rape her? Is she suffering from post traumatic trauma from the attack?  Because, if he didn't and she isn't, then she's suffering from "the entire universe revolves around me and my feelings at all times and I'm a silly little girl who still isn't mature enough for a a serious relationship with a grown man" syndrome. Did she stop developing emotionally at 12 or something? It's not as if she's been leading a sheltered existance. It isn't as if she has very little life experience. She's fought in battles of life and death, she's traveled, earned two advanced degrees. She's seen a large variety of good people and bad people. She hasn't been hiding behind her mother's apron. She wasn't raised in some weird cult that makes people feel shame about their bodies and sexual urges. She's the brightest witch of her age for gods sake!  What the hell has she been reading in the restricted section?

I'm sorry. My last nerve is shot. Hermione is an idiot and she's is right, she doesn't deserve Severus Snape. She should just kill herself now and put herself out of her misery.  I'd only stop her for Severus' sake, but I'd dunk her head in a bucket of cold water until she thought she was going to drown, first. Maybe after her miserable life fashes before her sorry eyes she'd vow that if she were to live she'd dry her hair and run down and make love to him immediately! Then I'd kick her in the ass on her way out the door to help her run faster. She'd better get ahold of herself by the next chapter or she is going to be Avada Kadavrad and Snape obliviated so he won't remember he ever knew her. 

Hermione is still annoying me.  My left nerve is totally gone and my right nerve is almost completely frassled and hanging on by a hair. I might have to slap her and give her a good shake!!!!  Somebody better do it and soon.

I can't believe Dumbledore could be so stupid when Minerva knew Hermione wants Severus. Surely Minerva would have told Albus the gossip. And when did Mister-Albus-see-everything-twinkle-eyes Dumbledore loose his all "knowingness"?  Not only should he have noticed Hermione's attraction to Severus, he should have known the gossip about what a Fuck Up Ron Weasely is and not invited him without a date to the party. He knows Hermione isn't with Ron, so he shouldn't have been trying to spare her feelings by inviting Ron alone. I also can't believe that Hermione didn't go down to the dungeons looking for Snape after the dance! What the hell is her problem? This isn't the Hermione who knows what she wants and goes after it. She's acting like she hasn't any brains. Obviously Severus was showing an interest in her at the table! Why the hell didn't she hex Ron The Fuck Head Weasely straight on when he first started behaving like a little pervert?  She isn't in love with him anymore. The Hermione I know would have. Snape would have seen her and known she didn't want Ron and she wouldn't have needed to cry all over Harry. This wallowing in self pity Hermione is indulging in has suddenly become very annoying. Three years is enough already!  Get over yourself! 

I'm taking a guess that Severus told Hermione that he wouldnt have been able to live with himself if she had died & that's why he joined her & that he loved her & possibly asked her to dinner, I'd think it was a joke if I was in that position too, being 17 & being asked out by your teacher who's 20 years older, I'd think he was just making a joke to celebrate or something along the lines of that. Poor bastard, incredibly sexy one though hehe.

No Day But Today?  But... man.  I've loved the story, really.  But your songs are all wrong! *flailing*  No Day But Today isn't really a happy song, as this chapter indisputably is.  Egad and Gadzooks!  What I mean to say is, good job, and keep writing.

Jesus Christ!  These two sure know how to leap into commitment, yah?  Also, the ending of the last chapter, with the POTO lyrics, was oddly foreboding.  Is there disaster in the air?  Or is it just that finding happy parts of Phantom is nigh-on impossible?

I'm enjoying this.  I haven't seen a lot of Hermione stories in which she's mean and then regrets it.  I've seen a few in which she's mean and nasty and even EVIL, but she never regrets that.  Anyway, I like this.  Who can blame Snape for his reactions and insecurities.  It's not like it's completely irrational since there's this history.Good story.  I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Well it was a great fan fiction and made a wonderful story of the Severus/Hermione pairing.  I loved it completely.

Well - I bet the letter from Hermione shocks them all -serves them right too since they have not been keeping up with her.

I simply loved this one - better than the last and the jeweler part to Albus - we all know what Severus is heading to buy - way to go old boy.

Oh my gosh - what Severus said to Hermione just was too perfect - dear lord - it was so sweet and so healing all at the same time.

Loved the heat between the two of them while it lasts - never liked her with Ron and so I wanted to shout at him "get lost to Ron" and "jump Sevie while you can."

Oh - tears this is so sad and tragic - I adore this chapter.

Whoa - the sparks are starting to fly and I am even more curious to what all he did tell Hermione that night and why she laughed like she did.

Poor Hermione and Severus - they are so pitiful in this chapter - even though they are appart.  One is crying and one is brooding - I loved the chapter's emotion.

Okay this story has a great start - it leaves you wondering what happened between them 3 years ago that would leave them at this state.
