When a young Severus Snape goes to Malfoy Manor with hope in his heart for the woman he loves, he finds his life is changed forever. Of course, nothing turns out the way it is supposed to, but then, it never does. When Severus finds his Andromeda betrothed to another, he feels he has little left in his heart to resist the call of Darkness.

Quite a whiplash, that he has to work between all that rage of Sirius's and all of that "affection" of Tom's. The directions for the potion are very creepy. They better finish this before poor Harry actually comes along.

Oh, no! Tom has been lulled into hopefully false security that's even deeper than before, but the stakes are now a little higher than before, too. Great new chapter that's really new!

.Sorry for the delay in responding, but I think I did (accurately, I may add) predict that things would go pear-shaped with my plan to post twice a week. My misplaced optimism managed to conjure up 100mph storm and knock down a forty foot tree through my telephone line, which has now just been restored after 10 days, or was it twenty? Stunning as ever.I'm really struck by the way you're able to have Snape so sure he knows where everything is but then he realizes just before it's about to happen that the rug is being pulled out from under him. Now he has to scramble to pull everything back together.
