I'm enjoying this story, but that's a pretty cliched cliffhanger.  Saw it coming ten miles off.

First of all, thank you so much for the update. Seccond, as much as I love Hermione and Severus, at the moment I just want to smack their othewise intelligent heads together to see if the bang could rattle some of their obviously totally lost braincells back in order. If they cant even talk to eachother and use every oppertunity to misunderstand the others words and/or actions, marriage (and I hate to say this) should not be on their schedule any time soon (read the next fifty years or so until they grow up). Kick them in the but and force some veritaserum down their throat will you? I am as always looking forward for more:-)))

Oh, I hope instead of a freak out on his part, that he calmly asks Blaise to leave and gives Hermione the benefit of the doubt.  Or, he gets fussy, and Blaise sorts things out.  Or this could happen:"Um, guys," Hermione said, "have you noticed there hasn't been much sex lately?  We are probably about due, don't you think?"Both men nodded in agreement."Does that mean you forgive me, Hermione?" Snape said."I do.  And now that we are being all warm and fuzzy again, it would break the mood if we were rude and asked Blaise to leave.""Agreed," he said as he waved his wand foolishly, and the three found themselves lacking clothing.I will stop there because afterall, this is your story.  But you know, just add in some waving of other wands and we will all be squealing reading about those three with their bits all tangled together.  Well, a girl can dream ...By the way, I might have enjoyed your freaked-out Ron a little too much.  Poor guy will have nightmares for a week.  Is he bright enough to wonder why Snape needed to find Hermione's room?  Oh dear ...

Oh well.  I would have enjoyed seeing a mature reaction from one of them after the last chapter.  Especially Snape who should have sent an explanatory owl long before the final scene here.  And I can't say I'm looking forward to a second lap around the Blaise water hazard either.  Hopefully you have something esle in store for us.

If Severus has changed his mind, why doesn't he simply propose?  If he hasn't, what will be the point of explaining that he doesn't want to marry her?  He's already made that clear.  Oh, dear.  I do hope this is not going to be another "Blaise would be better for her in the end" scenes.  There've been too many of those already.  Something tells me, though, that his "best yet" painting of Hermione may play a role in this.  I wonder whether Minerva knows anything about art?  Thanks for the update!
